ISFL season 27 (also referred to as the 2042 NSFL season) began on 28 September, 2042. The season concluded with Ultimus Bowl XXVII on 08 February, 2043, where the Sarasota Sailfish were crowned ISFL champions after defeating the New Orleans Second Line by a score of 10-34.

Player movements

The league year began in March of 2042, with teams allowed to contact and enter negotiations with players whose contracts were not yet extended beyond the end of the 2041 ISFL season.
