Quindarius "QT" Tyerucker (born May 2, 2011) is an American football runningback who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for South Carolina and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

QT was born to Delilah and Quenten Tyerucker. Delilah was an accountant, Quenten was a math teacher and assistant football coach at the high school he taught at. Growing up with a math teacher and an accountant in the house ended up rubbing off on QT and he became very adept at math, and put into the higher class track for math classes. He ended up going to the high school where his dad taught and even had two classes in school with his dad. Growing up in a house with a football coach rubbed off on QT, and he always wanted to play football for the high school team. He wasn't too big growing up and was always playing running back, when he reached high school he still didn't get that last growth spurt until after he had played two years at running back. When he came back for his junior year of high school he was five inches taller, and a lot thicker and built. He still ended up playing running back in high school, and bowled over a lot of would be tacklers. It was always his dream to play for the South Carolina University Gamecocks, so when they came knocking at his door one day he didn't hesitate and took the offer they gave him.

College career

"As a freshman at South Carolina QT was redshirted because of an established backfield and was told to hit the gym through the season. He was still practicing with the team and on more occasions, than not ended up as the FB for the established backs, and the younger and faster backs. There was also times when he was the back getting the ball in practice, but this diminished throughout the season.

As a redshirt freshman, he was one of the platoon of backs that was in a backup role. There was time spent on special teams where he got some tackles. As the year went on, and with some players getting dinged up QT got some play as a blocking back in the system and he actually started to make a difference then, because the running game seemed to roll better when he was the blocking back for the one getting the ball.

As a redshirt sophomore, he had to fight for it through the summer and spring practices, but he eventually made enough of a difference where the coaches decided to make sure QT was in on most of the running schemes. The was getting stronger and better at blocking through this career and this was no different this year. By the time the season came to an end South Carolina was one of the better teams at rushing the ball.

As a redshirt junior, it was much of the same story except that QT was stronger and had been taking tips from the OL and learning about blocking from them. This year South Carolina only didn't lead the league in rushing because the starting RB got hurt in one of the practices that held him out for a month of the season.

As a redshirt senior it was the last chance for QT and he wanted to make the most of it. He blocked his heart out and cleared lanes for the guy behind him. The guy ended up having a special season behind QT. He ended up being in the Heisman running through the year because of the stats he was putting up, and at the end of the year brought QT to the ceremony as a small thank you."
