Wayne Howyanow (born January 10, 1999) is an American football safety for the Tijuana Luchadores of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Minnesota (Minnesota) before being drafted by the Tijuana Luchadores in the 2032 DSFL Draft (S17).

Early years
Born in Letterkenny Ontario, Wayne grew up on a farm in a small town. He quickly gained a reputation as the toughest guy in town and a great athlete. Playing both safety and runningback in his highschools canadian rules football team, Wayne became noticed and recruited by American Colleges.
College career
Upon committing to University of Minnesota Wayne began playing only safety. Freshman year he played a rotational role while adjusting to life in the US. By sophomore year Wayne was a starting Free Safety who demonstrated an ability to cover the field sideline to sideline. His reputation as the toughest guy in Letterkenny followed him to the US, and he gained a reputation as Minnesota's enforcer. By the end of his college career he had set the Golden Gophers career interception record with 14, and over 200 career tackles.
