Coyote Stadium (2018–present)

The Kansas City Coyotes are a professional American football franchise based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Coyotes currently compete in the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL) as a member club of the league's DSFL Northern Conference (DSFL North) which currently only has one division. The franchise was established in 2018 (S3) as one of the original DSFL teams. The Coyotes have three Ultimini wins: 2027 (S12), when they won over the San Antonio Marshalls, 37-7; 2053 (S38), when they won over the Norfolk Seawolves, 17-3; and 2054 (S39), when they won over the Norfolk Seawolves again, 44-20.

History of the Kansas City Coyotes

Establishment

The Coyotes were founded in 2018 (S3) season as one of the original six franchises of the Developmental Simulation Football League. They were placed in the Eastern Conference alongside the San Antonio Marshals and the Tijuana Luchadores.

Conference changes

For the 2021 season, the Developmental Simulation Football League restructured the conferences such that teams previously associated with the East would now be part of the DSFL North, and teams associated with the West would now be part of the DSFL South.

For the 2034 season, the San Antonio Marshals were rebranded to the Grey Ducks and moved to Minnesota, precipitating a move for the Kansas City Coyotes from the DSFL North to the DSFL South.

For the 2035 season, the Norfolk Seawolves were moved to the DSFL South, and the Kansas City Coyotes were returned to the DSFL North.
