History
The Berlin Fire Salamanders is a professional American football franchise based in Berlin, Germany. The Fire Salamanders currently compete in the International Simulation Football League (ISFL) as a member club of the league's National Simulation Football Conference (NSFC) which currently only has one division.
The franchise was established in 2040 (S25) in the league's fourth expansion. It is led by GM Dewalt27 who has been around since S18 of the ISFL. Dewalt27 wanted to honor his German ancestors, and combined with Head Office's interest in international teams, they wanted to find something that relates directly to Germany. The Black, Yellow and Red/Orange colors represent the German flag along with the Fire Salamander mascot which is common throughout Germany and most of Europe.
