Willie "The Miracle" Swaggert (born December 25, 2038) is an American football runningback for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Willie Swaggert was born on December 25th, 2038 at Taylor's house in Taylors, South Carolina. Willie Swaggert was born to William and Rose Swaggert, who would later be forced to give up custody of Willie Swaggert after Swaggert, in his own words, "reported them to CPS until they dragged those bums away". He would later be adopted by Felix and Ganyu Archstone, both known for their tenures in the International Simulation Football League. His nickname "The Miracle" would come from the Archstone's referring to him as their "miracle child" and his belief that he was a special child due to being born on December 25th. Willie Swaggert himself would describe his childhood as "a never ending chase for stardom from the couch till Mom and Pops made me pick up the ball". He would most notably spend his youth playing RB starting in elementary school and all the way through middle and highschool, where he made a name for himself with his constant attention catching antics as well as his ability to bulldoze any and every defender that stood in his way due to his massive size compared to most kids his age.

College career

After finding much success during his youthful days in Football, Willie Swaggert would not find many teams that wanted to accept him into their campuses. Willie Swaggert described himself as "never being book smart but always being money smart, which makes me more intelligent". If not for educational reasons, he would find schools rejecting him for behavioral reasons, with schools fearing he would cause more issues than benefits. Fortunately, his parents were able to get a school to reach out with him with a scholarship offer, which would be South Carolina's very own The Citadal. The Citadel, which serves as a military academy, was confident they could help shape Swaggert up while also honing his football skills on their very run heavy Football team. Plus, the school infamously gave Dodge Chargers to new students, which would be the tipping point for Swaggert to accept the scholarship. However, problems would immediately spring up as they made him their starting FB instead or RB. This would lead to the first of many controversies Swaggert would face, as his entire team would begin to accuse him of sabotage among other acts. When asked about it, Swaggert would show brutal honesty, stating "Yeah, I sabotage the team. So what? They wanna put ME, THE STAR, AT FB? Alright. Then I'm gonna make them as miserable as the teams we beat, all while standing out as the star I am." Despite this, Swaggert was able to finish a full four years of college with The Citadel, facing no punishments for his actions during his time with the school.

DSFL career

Despite mounting criticism against Willie Swaggert, he was invited to join the Minnesota Grey Ducks as a temporary waiver pickup to finish out Season 43. He was used sparingly as a backup, mostly there to watch and learn. His time with the team clearly left a heavy impression, as the Grey Ducks would then go on to draft Willie Swaggert in the first round with the first overall pick. Currently, the season has yet to begin, but it is most commonly speculated that Willie Swaggert will serve primarily as a receiving back instead of being utilized as a power back like in his college days.

The following offseason, Willie Swaggert would be drafted first overall in the Season 44 DSFL draft by the Minnesota Grey Ducks, who cited the main reason for drafting Willie Swaggert to be the influence and energy he brings to a locker room. He would serve as a gadget player for Minnesota, lining up at both RB and WR but mostly playing behind the starters of those positions. Overall, it was a very promising season for Willie Swaggert, ranking 10th overall in rushing yards and 2nd amongst RBs in receiving yards. He also managed to score 11 total touchdowns on the season, usually as a pass catcher. Entering season 45, Willie Swaggert returns for another season in Minnesota with the expectations that he will continue to serve as a gadget player, but most likely finding more time lining up as a WR as he finds himself in a unique position to be the best talent available for the position.

Entering the draft cycle for Season 45, there was a lot of buzz that Willie Swaggert could potentially be first overall again, however, during scouting conversations it's reported that Willie Swaggert rubbed a lot of general managers the wrong way due to antics such as putting his legs on the general managers desk, pretending to fall asleep and make exaggerated snoring sounds, and failing to adequately address the character concerns against him. This would further explode as an article broke online called "Willie's Truth" which sought to link Willie Swaggert to the death of Anthony Hart. Willie Swaggert reportedly denied these allegations, famously stating "I didn't do it, I dunno why you guys keep saying I did it. I mean, Hart deserved every bit of it and I'm glad he dead, but I ain't had nothing to do with it." Despite everything, it would be the Berlin Fire Salamanders taking Willie Swaggert in the first round and pick #7. Currently, Willie Swaggert has yet to take the field for Berlin, but it is said he is expected to debut for them in Season 46.
