Really Creative-Name (born January 12, 2032) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Totally Real University (TRU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Really Creative-Name was born in a Chuck E Cheese in San Jose, California. Yes, you read that right. His mother was blowing off some steam, playing in her favorite ball pit, when suddenly she went into labor and had him right there. There's still a plaque in his honor by the ball pit! Never one to be boring, Really Creative-Name went after unique hobbies - rock climbing, fencing, hip-hop dancing, and more - during his childhood and adolescence. However, in high school he realized that he had the grip strength, agility, and quick feet to be an elite wide receiver. He tried it out starting his sophomore year and by the end of junior year was a top 200 prospect on the ESPN high school charts. His senior year, he set national records in catches, receiving yards, and came 2 shy of the record for touchdowns in a homeschool league. Despite not playing public or private school ball, Creative-Name became a touted prospect and was recruited to play at Totally Real University, a juggernaut in NCAA football.

College career

As a true freshman, Creative-Name had to wait his turn to get playing time. He spent the season as a kick and punt returner, averaging 28 yards per return and a touchdown as a kick returner and 12 yards per return as a punt returner. Sophomore year, he was able to get on the offensive side and began to slowly gain momentum and learn how to play in a bigtime system like Totally Real University. He compiled 800 receiving yards on 62 catches and scored 4 touchdowns that year. Junior year, Creative-Name broke onto the scene, gaining 1611 receiving yards on 98 catches, 237 rushing yards, and 13 combined touchdowns. This earned him the status of a finalist for the national WR of the year, an award that he would win after his senior year. Speaking of his senior year, Creative-Name had 2200 receiving yards and 21 receiving touchdowns on 124 catches and led Totally Real University to their first national title in a decade. At the end of his college career, it was clear that Really Creative-Name was ready to make a splash at the next level.

Professional career

The nephew of Adam Schell, expectations for Really Creative-Name were high coming into the DSFL. He spent his collegiate career honing in his skills in preparation for professional football, and was given the opportunity to begin his career in the same place as his uncle when the Tijuana Luchadores selected him 24th overall as a 3rd round draft pick.

Season 37

Creative-Name burst onto the scene from the start, compiling the third most catches, fourth most receiving yards, and fifth most touchdowns among all DSFL receiver, including the most touchdown catches among all DSFL rookies. Creative-Name proved to be a force to deal with and while the season began slowly, he quickly grew into his position as the number 1 WR in Tijuana. While the season did not include as much winning as they hoped, the Luchadores still managed to go 5-8-1 after losing much of their championship roster to promotions to the ISFL. As they continue to progress and develop, Creative-Name looked toward season 38 with hopes of leading a team to many more wins than in his rookie campaign. As the season came to a close, Creative-Name began to receive calls from interested teams throughout the ISFL as the draft approached. Many people wondered where he would be drafted and how high this promising receiver could climb...

Season 38

After learning that he was drafted in the second round of the ISFL draft by the Berlin Fire Salamanders, Really Creative-Name vowed to go out with a bang in the season before his inevitable call up to the "big leagues". Spurred by this motivator, Really Creative-Name grinded week after week to better his game and helped the Tijuana Luchadores to a 6-8 record which was good enough for a playoff berth. However, once they made the playoffs it was clear that this just was not a complete enough roster to compete for an Ultimini. Creative-Name balled out in the playoff game to the tune of 134 yards and a touchdown, but his team was unable to stop Norfolk's offense who ended up hanging 45 points on them before losing to the Coyotes in the Ultimini. Disappointed at the end of his DSFL career, Creative-Name chose to look forward to the team that drafted him and just came within 3 points of a championship themselves. "Perhaps," he was quoted saying, "they are just one piece away."

Season 39

Season 39 came with the call up Really Creative-Name had been waiting for. He finally made it to the ISFL and spent his first season as a part of the Berlin Fire Salamanders, the same team at which his uncle Adam Schell made his legacy. Creative-Name plugged in as the wide receiver 3 behind Octavio Perez and Zayne Dangle and put up very respectable stats in his rookie season. He nearly topped 1000 yards receiving and scored 5 touchdowns in his rookie campaign. Unfortunately the team struggled and finished with a 4-12 record as they navigated the challenges of acclimating a rookie quarterback to an unforgiving league which was dominated by the Yellowknife Wraiths and their powerhouse squad. Creative-Name ended his season with high hopes and lots to learn, determined to come back stronger and better than ever for the league's 40th season. "This is just the start for me," he said. "You haven't seen anything yet."

Season 40

Season 40 was marked by improvement and exemplified the grind that is the ISFL. In this season, Berlin improved on their 4-12 record from the season before to go 5-10-1. This isn't the kind of overnight turnaround one dreams of, but the team was no doubt better. Their quarterback was improving and learning from his youth and the hope was that the breakthrough would happen next year. On an individual level, Really Creative-Name made good on his promises to fans and teammates and improved in every single major statistical category. He had more receptions, yards, and touchdowns as well as a higher yard per catch average and a new record long reception. He looked faster and more athletic, but there were questions about his football IQ. No doubt this kid could hustle, but the next step was going to be proving himself to be more reliable and wise during the game. "I've got a lot of film to study," he said. "But I'm happy with how far I've already come."

Season 41

Season 41 was honestly extremely similar to Season 40. Really Creative-Name stepped briefly into the WR2 role in Berlin before they traded for Mada who slipped into that role instead. Creative-Name, as WR3, again put up over 1000 receiving yards and scored 6 touchdowns while averaging the most yards per catch of the three headed beast of receivers in Berlin. Unfortunately, the team was still unable to find consistency, finishing 5-11 and in last place in the conference. With a peaking quarterback and several up and coming weapons, it seems like this team should have performed better than they did, but you can't always predict what's going to happen out there on the field or this game would be a lot less fun. Heading into Season 42, Really Creative-Name shared that he felt his endurance was something he wanted to work on. "I want to be walking off the field as fresh as I started so that I can be blowing by defenders by the end of the game." With that in mind, Creative-Name began marathon training in the offseason. We'll have to wait and see how big of a difference this interesting decision makes in the season to come!
