However, the Seawolves fought back, as Benny Hanna connected with rookie quarterback Elijah Dyson for a 17-yard touchdown pass, putting the Seawolves on the scoreboard. The Birddogs swiftly responded, with Lane Frost catching a 75 yard touchdown to extend their lead to 24-7. The SeawolvesDepth Charge made an important interception shortly after leading to a JJ What catch for a touchdown, narrowing the deficit. Nonetheless, the Birddogs maintained their momentum, securing a field goal before halftime, leading 27-14.
