Lineal ISFL championship
This article is unfinished. |
The Lineal NSFL championship (also known as the NSFL Title Belt, or simply The Belt) was conceived, and initially tracked, by 37thchamber as a thought exercise. Noting that the league's post-season design meant that an Ultimus champion team could potentially reach such status without holding a win over the regular-season champion (and therefore consensus "best team" in the league), he traced a lineal championship dating back from Ultimus Bowl I.
The current holders of the belt are ___________________, who won the strap from _________ on ______.
Rules
When initialising the belt, 37thchamber decided on the following rules:
- Whenever the holder competes in a game (pre-season and other exhibition games do not count), it will be considered a title defence
- If the team holding the belt loses a title defence, the belt is passed to their opposition
- The belt cannot change hands on a tie result
Lineage
The belt was initially awarded to the Arizona Outlaws, as champions of the 2016 (S1). Their first defence was on 2017-10-01 (the opening week of the league's second season) against _____. Below is every instance in which the belt changed hands.
