The 2040 DSFL Season was the 25th season of the International Simulation Football League and the New York Silverbacks' inaugural season.
The season began on 30 September 2040 with the New York Silverbacks losing to the Berlin Fire Salamanders 30-27 at the Concrete Jungle. The season concluded with the New York Silverbacks (4-12) missing the playoffs.
The franchise's first win came in week 11 against the Arizona Outlaws who they beat at the Concrete Jungle 21-24 after starting their season 0-10.
