Xavier Flash (born September 24, 1989) was an American football wide receiver for the San Jose Sabercats and Yellowknife Wraiths of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for the University of Florida before entering the professional ranks in 2024. He retired at the end of Season 18, playing his final game in a Wraiths uniform, losing in the Ultimus Trophy game to the Orange County Otters. He finished his career with one Ultimus Championship in Season 14 with the SaberCats, 2 Pro Bowl appearances, and arguably the best hands in NSFL history as he didn't record a single dropped pass in the final seven seasons of his career. The man, known as Mr. Irrelevant, signed a one day contract with San Jose to retire a SaberCat, the team he will forever be linked too.

Early years

Xavier Flash grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, but when his parents saw his skills in football developing, they decided it was best to move to the US to get the most out of him. They enrolled him in St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale where he started at wide receiver. Many colleges recruited him, but he decided to stay in state and go to Florida to become a Gator.

College career

Flash played two seasons as a Florida Gator, helping lead them to a bowl game in his final season. He was Florida's leading receiver for both seasons he spent there. He closed out his Gators career in the Rose Bowl, catching 6 balls for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. His performance helped lead his team to a 32-15 win over rivals Florida State.
