Notso Smart (born August 11, 2032) is an American football safety for the Arizona Outlaws. He played college football for Arizona State (ASU) before being drafted by the Dallas Birddogs in round one at pick 2 of the Season 39 DSFL Draft.

Early years
Notso Smart had a relatively normal upbringing in the suburbs of London, United Kingdom. Born to Gerladine Smart (née Thomas) and Jacob Smart, Notso would typically struggle with academics throughout his childhood but showed an exceptional level of understanding when it came to the world of sports. In addition to this high level of understanding and application of strategy and technique within sports, Smart also showed exceptional physical prowess. In both primary (elementary, in the USA) and high school, he would set school records for the 100m, 200m and 400m. He would go on to represent his high school in almost every sport available to him, including Rugby, Cricket, Soccer, Basketball, Track and Hockey. However, Smart's biggest success in sports was coming outside of the school grounds, just a few miles away at the home of the London Olympians, where he was a standout player for their youth team. The performances on both sides of the ball attracted the attention of multiple colleges across the Atlantic, where he would ultimately ply his trade.
College career
Notso Smart was given a full scolorship to Arizona State on the back of a recommendation from Coach Crunk, who had worked with his paternal cousin and ISFL star linebacker, Glenn Smart of the Arizona Outlaws. After redshirting his first season, Smart quickly got to work after winning the starting free safety spot during the off-season, leading the team with two interceptions and four forced fumbles. He would match his first season's interception tally as a sophomore, while also contributing a career high 4 tackles for loss from the secondary. It was as a junior, as a newly appointed team captain, that Smart would truly show the footballing world what he was capable of. In 11 games, he recorded 80 tackles, 23 passes defended and 8 interceptions - leading to Smart being recognised as a consensus first team All-American. While his production in tackling and passes defended would drop from such astronomical highs as a senior, he still managed to make 9 interceptions, as he bowed out of the college game being recognised as the National Defensive Player of the Year by Football News.

2053 Season
Notso Smart was picked up by the London Royals on waiver towards the end of the 2053 season. While he was not quite yet at a point where he was able to set the league on fire, the experience he gained while playing for his hometown organisation would add immense value for him down the line. He would register 1 sack, 3 passes defended and 11 tackles in the four regular season appearances that he would make for the team. Unfortunately, with the Royals failing to make it into a playoff berth, the season would come to a swift end and Notso Smart was left with little to do but await the DSFL draft in the off season. London were kind enough to allow Smart to continue training at their facilities, as he waited for his future to be decided. He would take full advantage of this, significantly improving both his technical and physical abilities ahead of his true rookie season.
2054 Season
After being picked up second overall in the 2054 DSFL Draft by the Dallas Birddogs, the great expansion rivals of the London Royals, Notso Smart had to laydown roots and build a new support network to help him achieve his full potential. A sensational rookie season would follow, as Smart made seven interceptions across the course of the season - including a pick six. Those interceptions, combined with 5 sacks, 75 tackles and 10 passes defended made him a standout defensive rookie and safety, as he matched the Dallas Birddogs all time career record for interceptions in a single season. Smart's performances helped the Birddogs go from 3-11 in the prior season to a winning 8-6 record, with a playoff berth. Unfortunately, they would fall early in the playoffs to the Norfolk Seawolves, losing 27-30 in the Championship game. However, with a substantial draft class on the horizon, things looked positive for Notso Smart and the Dallas Birddogs.
2055 Season
After being taken in the first round of the 2055 ISFL Draft by the Arizona Outlaws, Notso Smart was shockingly immediately called up from the Dallas Birddogs. While little was expected from Smart in his debut season, he had a strong desire to hit the ground running and prove his worth at the next level. On his debut he made a game winning tackle in the 4th quarter, forcing a fumble on a 40 yard play, securing possession for the offense to run the clock down and close out the win. This would ultimately set the standard for the eventual Defensive Rookie of the Year, as he would go on to register 5 interceptions and 6 sacks from the safety position - as well as a further forced fumble later in the year. While his tackling output was relatively low, much of this can be chalked up to the stellar performance by both the defensive line in Arizona and a strong group of linebackers, led by Leonardo McTurtle. In addition to being the DRotY, Smart was also a 2nd Team All-Pro, receiving 12/14 votes.
