JR Frankenstero (born October 31, 2029) is an American football defensive end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Michigan before being drafted by the New Orleans Second Line in the 2051 ISFL Draft (S36). Prior to this, he had been drafted by the Dallas Birddogs in the 2050 DSFL Draft (S35).

Early years

JR frankenstero was born by a hot spring in Reykjavik Iceland to his parents Rowyn and JR Frankenstero Senior in late 2029. Growing up he was mainly into Baseball, as his dad was a DDBL Baseball Legend. He dabbled some in Hockey, and then would play a few pickup games of Basketball and some Flag Football games with friends. As he grew older and went to High School he was in all four sports, and lettered in each. Baseball was always his first love, but he still plays all four to this day.

During High School he was approached by a multitude of Colleges throughout the country to play all of the different sports. After narrowing it down to Michigan, Florida, USC, Oklahoma and Villanova, he then cut it down to Michigan and Florida. Each school wanted him to play in all four sports, but again his main goal was which team would help him more with Baseball. The University of Michigan gave him the best overall feeling, and he was able to become a superstar.

College career

Once Frankenstero took the field for the first time at the 'Big House' he knew that Football was joining Baseball as a true love. When you can play in front of 110,000 people it gives you a whole new gear. During his Freshman year he helped bring Michigan the College Baseball Championship, and was Redshirted in Football. In Basketball he sat on the bench and learned how to play at a higher level, while the Hockey team allowed him to get into some of the games, but nothing too big.

From his Sophomore season on he was a starter in all four sports, and helped the school pickup three more championships. When he took his defensive stance during the Home Coming game the chants of "JR JR JR" started reigning down on the field, and that is when the team and fans were completely behind him. Winning the Big Ten his final three seasons was just icing on the cake, but during his Junior year Michigan Football won the BCS.

DSFL career

After winning the College Football BCS Championship, Frankenstero graduated school early so he could get a waiver to join the DSFL before the season was over, to get some reps in the league and show the teams what they would be getting if drafted. For season 34 the London Royals picked him up to play the last four games of the season. General Manager Sebiscut was asked about the decision, "JR Frankenstero has been awesome in the locker room, but strangely enough he keeps requesting jersey number switches. yesterday he was #6 and just now he has changed to #7. It's getting out of hand!" Co-GM Gordon Bombay couldn't be reached for comment. During his four games of limited play he was able to pickup 6 Tackles, 1 Sack and also Force and Recover a Fumble. Since JR is part of the Season 35 draft class for the DSFL, he took part in the Prospect Bowl playing for the New Jersey Devils and was able to pick up 37 Tackles, 12 Tackles for Loss, 2 Sacks, but he also missed 6 Tackles in his 14 games.

2050 Season: After getting drafted to the Dallas Birddogs, they had a pretty rough season, finishing at 3-11 and tied for last place on the year. JR Frankenstero had a great rookie season and was able to get himself trained up enough to be in top form in the DSFL. This will allow him to be a max player for the entire 2051 season, and allow him to hopefully be an anchor on the defense for the new season. His 64 tackles led the DSFL from the DE position, and he picked up 9 sacks on the year, putting him at 3rd from the DE spot. With the great personal season it propelled Frankenstero to become a late 1st Round draft pick by the New Orleans Second Line in the ISFL draft. After the disappointing season with the Birddogs, he worked out day and night to get picked as high as he could, and becoming a 1st round pick was exactly what he had dreamed of.

2051 Season: In the second season with the Dallas Birddogs, things didn't go much better for the team. Dallas finished the season 3-11 again to be the worst team in the league for the second straight season. It started out very rough with an 8 game losing streak, but they were finally able to put it together at the end of the season going 3-3 and capping off the season with a 37-13 win over the London Royals. The Royals were where JR got his first taste of DSFL action, and he was able to show up that final game getting 5 tackles and 1 sack. For the total season Frankenstero was able to pick-up 45 tackles with 6 sacks and 1 forced fumble. It was a down season overall, but at the conclusion of the season he got a call from the New Orleans Second Line staff saying to prepare for coming up to the ISFL. So after two seasons with the Birddogs, and a 6-22 record, it's time to head up to the big show.1

ISFL career

After being told at the end of the 2051 season that New Orleans was looking to bring him up, it was all aboard the ISFL train. The Second Line were looking to add some of their younger talent and try and turn the tables on the last few seasons and at least make it to the playoffs. And make it to the playoffs they did, garnering the #2 spot and having an exciting time making it to the playoffs in the season of talent finally coming together. Frankenstero didn't have a great season stats wise, but he was able to help create more of a Lock Down Defensive Line for the team, and teamed up with other Second Line Rookie, Linebacker Carissa van Campen, to sharpen the defense. Playing in all 16 games of the regular season, JR was only able to gather up 17 tackles, and not pick up a single sack, but being a brand new younger rookie it wasn't surprising.

The 2053 season started out with a lot of promise after the surprising 2052 playoff team, but that was quickly put in check. After a 4-0 pre-season, the regular season started off with an 1-4 start, with each of those four losses coming by one score. In all for the season the Second Line went 8-8, and every since loss was by 8 points or less, making it a shocking and surprising final record for the team. In the last six games the team went 5-1, but by then their fate was already sealed. On a personal level JR Frankenstero was finally able to wrap up sack after sack this season, after not even being able to pick-up one his rookie season. And even with the sacks, the first one didn't come till the 3rd game of the year, as the first two losses he wasn't even able to show up on any statsline. Frankenstero was able to finish the season with 1 forced fumble and 12 total sacks though, which tied for 11th overall in the entire league, and was 1 behind the league lead from the Defensive End spot. Teammate Morpheus Czargyros had 13 on the season.

After a decent 2053 season for Frankenstero, 2054 was a mixed bag. While the total tackles went up by 8, the missed tackles went up from 2 to 6 on the season. Along with that sacks went down from 12 to only 10 on the season, but there was also one fumble recovery. The main problem there ended up being a lot of different games where JR didn't even get in on any action. But for the New Orleans Second Line it was a different story, after having one of the pre-season favorite teams and missing the playoffs in 2052, they were able to come squeak into the playoffs in 2053. But that was only the beginning, as in the first round of the playoffs they knocked off the 11-5 Austin Copperheads as an 8-8 team, scoring all 22 of their points in the 4th quarter. And then in the second round they lost to the top team in the division, the Arizona Outlaws. Hopefully some moves can improve the chances of the New Orleans this coming season.

The 2055 Season was rough all around for JR Frakenstero and the New Orleans Second Line. After a few seasons of making the playoffs and being able to advance, they had a rough 6-10 record losing 5 of the last 6 games on the season. The really hard part was that half of the losses were by double digits and they got completely blown out in four of those games. As for Frankenstero's personal season it was fairly ho hum. After being able to increase at least one of his stats each season he took a step back all around. He did end up with 33 tackles and 2 for loss, while lowering the missed tackles from 6 the previous season to 4, but he also had a drop to 9 sacks on the year. He also didn't play into any fumbles or fumble recoveries, and had multiple games where he was just "there" on the field. Hopefully this upcoming season will be able to see him shine and keep helping the Second Line Defense get better.

The 2056 season started with New Orleans, and then as they decided to blow it up and completely rebuild the team JR was traded to the Austin Copperheads. New Orleans finished 1-15 on the season, while the curse of JR moved to Austin where they missed the playoffs and went 7-9, he was traded between weeks 3 and 4 and was on the Second Line for their only win. For the season in his 16 games Frankenstero had 41 tackles, 7 of them for a loss, with 9 sacks and a forced fumble, but he also was able to pick up a safety while playing for each team during the season. Surprisingly he also was able to make the Second Team All-Pro for the year with those two Safeties and setting new career records for tackles and tackles for loss, along with the least amount of missed tackles so far in his career. Hopefully this season he can bring his entire game to the team that took a chance on him and show what his peak can be.
