Jake Williams (born March 15, 2030) is an American football runningback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Oregon (UO) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Following the footsteps of his older brother Cade, Jake looked to supercede everything his brother accomplished. Labeled a "Jack-of-all-trades", Jake did everything on the field in High School. Anywhere from RB to even S, and everything inbetween. His coaches raved about his talent and total dedication to the craft of each position. In his senior year, he led his team to an undefeated team and was crowned MVP of the high school championship in which they blew out the opposing team. Wanting to honor his brother's legacy, he decided to attend the University of Oregon. Before going on campus, the younger Williams' attended his brother's S36 Ultimus win. He was proud to see him accomplish a 2nd Ultimus win, and their relationship as of late had been repaired. He currently lived with his dad to take care of him during his high school years and wanted to attend Oregon to continue looking after him.

College career

Although Jake had attended the University of Oregon, he redshirted his freshman year so he could maintain eligibility. His RS Freshman year didn't compose any playing time. During his sophomore season, he was able to get a few games in, including a 59 yard game on 10 carries against Washington State. It was his Junior year where Jake exploded into the national scene. Jake rushed for 1461 yards on 285 carries. He also rushed for 21 TD's as they would meet Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. There, Jake ended the game with 137 rushing yards and 2 TD's including the win against the Badgers. There he would announce going pro for the ISFL. Many had questioned his decision as they thought he would have a great career in the NFL. But Jake pointed out the appeal of an international market. With that, he would prepare for the ISFL combine in which he posted impressive numbers.

DSFL Career

S37

Coming into the season as a TDL waiver, Jake Williams was nervous but also excited to join the league that his brother Cade was a part of. He was claimed by the Luchadores, the same team that drafted his brother. He had a quiet season for a TDL rookie by averaging 4.3 yards per carry. He would also add a pair of catches for 33 yards and a TD. The Luchadores would not make the playoffs and would start to get better toward the end of the season. Jake would train throughout the offseason vowing he would show up for whoever drafts him. He would train with up and comer Sherwin Blue Jr in order to harness the speed and vision at the DSFL level. As the draft approached, almost every team would scout him and he knew that he would go fairly high in the DSFL draft. This would be the first step in his long journey to be the next great RB for the ISFL.

S38

Entering the S38 offseason, Jake Williams was pretty confident he would land with the Luchadores. He felt comfortable with the organization, something he heard from his brother, and now experienced himself. Tijuana drafted him in the 2nd and would draft another RB in the 3rd, and between the two would lead a stout rushing offense for the league. They had big shoes to hole after C.G. Breezy led the league in rushing for the entire DSFL. Williams had a very good year by having an average of 5.2 yards per carry and had a 1000+ rushing yards for the season. With the OL not being as up to par as some in the league, Williams made the best with what he had and was able to help Tijuana reach a playoff berth since S35. Although they would lose in their first game, Williams was happy with the journey and is now looking forward to what the ISFL will bring for him.

ISFL Career

S39

Jake Williams entered the ISFL as the 2nd string RB for the Hawks. Expectations were unfairly high for Williams as he had to fill the shoes for legendary RB's Goose and King, who have been dynamic players for years. In his first year, Williams did fairly decent for a 1st year RB. His best game of the season easily was against the Colorado Yeti as he ran for 119 yards on just 19 attempts with a combined 2 rushing TD's. That game however did not carry through to the rest of the season. Baltimore would finish 6-10, which was a little bit more than expected and really brought to light the future of the RB room. After the season, the Hawks Front Office approached Jake and asked if he wanted to stay at RB. To their surprise, he brought up that while it's been fun being successful for many seasons at RB, he was ready to try something new and help the team...

S40

During the offseason, the coaching staff decided that Jake would be a perfect fit for CB. While he loved playing the RB, he knew that CB would help the team now and for the distant future. During that time, it would take a bit before he got the groove of the actual position. The coaches reminded Jake time and time again that it will take a momentous amount of time and dedication to the craft. And that was severely noticeable during the 40th season of the ISFL. Williams didn't flash very many plays for the Hawks, but he was able to fill the role as best as he could with the time squeeze that was during the offseason. He would accumulate 58 tackles with 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery. He also deflected 17 passes with 1 INT. Overall not a great season for Jake, but he knew where to put expectations at. But with the new season coming up, Williams was more than ready to take the next step for the Hawks and hopefully make it to the long awaited playoffs that have escaped Baltimore for so long.

S41

With his 2nd season starting as a CB, Williams felt more comfortable and confident going into each game. His training and focus at his new position really helped him thrive in his role as CB1. While Baltimore didn't have the greatest team success, Williams was able to help slow down one side of the field with his blazing speed. His best game came against the Berlin Firesalamanders where he picked off Roque Santa-Cruz and returned it for 70 yards. It was a total defensive game as the final score was 19-17 and Baltimore was able to squeak the win out in Berlin. Jake has all the physical tools to be the top CB of the game, and even though he's improving, there's still so much more he has to learn at the position. The finer details are the things he still needs to work on, and he's definitely learning them to the best of his ability.

S42

Jake exploded onto the scene in S42. Williams was able to help Baltimore get their first winning season since S38. The Hawks as a whole were 2nd in points allowed and 1st in total yards and passing yards allowed. The acquisitions of Charles Chapman, Apollo Program and the movement of positions for Casino Robin and Sledge Hammer helped solidify the defense to make it a powerhouse for the season. Jake as CB2 for the Hawks had 4 INT's while bringing 2 of them back to the house. He shut down countless wide receivers in the league and was able to help the Hawks reach an 11-5 record and solidify the 1st seed of the NSFC. Williams kept training to ensure that he did all he could to get the Hawks back to their winning ways. With the upcoming season, Jake will look to challenge Chapman for the CB1 position so that he can prove to the world that it is his time now.

S43

Going into S43, Jake felt like this team was on the cusp of greatness. After falling short of the Ultimus bid as the #1 seed in the playoffs last season, Williams felt like the the team erased what happened and wanted to put fear into the hearts of opponents they played, and it definitely showed. Going 13-2-1, this was the best record for the Hawks in recent memory. They dominated on both sides of the ball, with Beatz leading the way of a high powered offense and Buckley Jr. soaring the Baltimore D to new heights. Once the playoffs rolled in, the Hawks were locked in. After beating Cape Town, their eyes were set on the Ultimus. But New York was no slouch, and the Hawks would win in a tight one 16-10. Williams was finally able to share the same achievement that his older brother Cade had. But can Jake win back to back like his sibling?

S44

Jake was finally named CB1 for the Baltimore Hawks going into S44. Chapman was getting older and had announced that this would be his last season, and with that the Hawks felt comfortable putting Williams as the #1 CB for the team. Overall the Hawks did almost as good as last season. Although they fell short in the conference championship, the Hawks felt that they played as good as they could with quite a few of their players getting older while also mixing in the young talent they have been developing. With all that being said, the Hawks are looking to go after another Ultimus run as the team is still strong from top to bottom. And with Jake's prime running out, he wonders when his time will come as Chapman's had done so earlier. The Hawks traded for one of NOLA's top prospects from the S42 draft. Jake knows his time will be coming soon, and hopefully Baltimore capitalizes on it.
