Brad Woof (born November 11, 2039) is an American football wide receiver for the Honolulu Hahalua of the ISFL. He played college football for Berklee College of Music (BCM) before being drafted 5th overall by the Portland Pythons in the 2061 DSFL Draft (S46) and 1st overall by the Honolulu Hahalua in the 2062 ISFL Draft (S47).

Early years

Brad was born on November 11th, 2038 in Boston, Massachusetts to musicians Angus and Dorothy Woof. From a young age, Brad's parents instilled in him a love of music and he was classically trained in several instruments including guitar, piano, and saxophone. In high school, Brad played for the Malden High School Golden Tornados and led the school's marching band. Under his leadership, the band won the 2056 Griffin Garfield Award for Fastest Marching Band in America. Brad's high school football career was largely unremarkable, as his team never finished with a winning record. In his junior year, he set the Malden High School single season receiving yards record with 1111 yards on 71 receptions. Despite his speed and skill, Brad decided to focus on music instead of football when choosing a college. He was accepted to the illustrious Berklee College of Music for the fall of 2056, with a major of High-Intensity Speed Jazz.

College career

Brad chose the Berklee College of Music to focus on his musical skills, but he still felt the pull to football. In his sophomore year, Brad started the Berklee Jazz Cats Football Club and joined the Greater Boston Club Football league in order to play against local schools and their own club football programs. Through his final three years at Berklee, Woof's Jazz Cats never lost a single game. In 2060, The Jazz Cats' stellar performance was noted by local news outlets and local sports programs, resulting in a charity event hosted by Boston College in which the Jazz Cats were invited to play against the BC Eagles, who had just finished their season with a record of 7-1. In shocking fashion, the Jazz Cats blew out the Eagles with a score of 35-9 behind Brad Woof's 9 receptions for 194 yards and 4 touchdowns. This game got Woof some local and national popularity and resulted in an invitation to the Season 46 DSFL Draft.

DSFL

2061 Season (S46)

Woof was drafted by the Portland Pythons with the 5th overall pick in the 2061 DSFL Draft (S46). He took the field immediately as the WR1 for the Pythons, leading a WR corps comprised of fellow S46 rookies Jonathan Irons and Ricky Ray. The offensive outlook was very positive for Portland.

Woof and returning QB Billy Van Goff quickly developed a rapport and Van Goff looked his way early and often. This resulted in Woof briefly leading the league in receptions, and by the end of the year he would finish second, behind only Tijuana WR Pitter Patter. Unfortunately this would be the main highlight of Woof's only year in the DSFL, as the Pythons were largely unable to sustain any scoring offense. Marred by a subpar run game and too many holes on defense, the very young Portland team could not keep up with the rest of the league and finished the season 3-11. Despite this, Woof generated some amount of interest for ISFL GMs and was considered a first round prospect for the 2062 ISFL Draft (S47). He would end up being selected first overall by the Honolulu Hahalua.

ISFL

2062 Season (S47)

After Honolulu's 2061 tank season, the first overall selection Woof joined the Hahalua as WR3 behind veteran Speedy Gizmo and draft trade acquisition Forozka Duanei. Gizmo announced that S47 would be his last and Duanei was considered a short term rental, so 2062 looked to be a development year for Woof before ascending to the number one spot. Honolulu started the season 0-5, but were clearly still showing promise by keeping most games quite close.
