Thomas Sutha is a Canadian football player who gained recognition as a standout dual-sport high-school athlete in both American football and baseball. Professional Career
Sutha was a taken with the 4th overall pick in the 2057 (S42) draft by the Minnesota Grey Ducks, after what was described as a great scouting visit and the potential to go in the top 5 of the ISFL draft. Sutha originally was assigned to cornerback, the position he excelled at in college and declared for the draft as. After a rough first game, Sutha recorded a league high 14 pass defenses and was able to return an interception for a defensive touchdown. With his potential beginning to show, the Grey Ducks made a surprise move and announced that Sutha would be moving to wide reciever.
Filling in the holes that ISFL call-ups had created on the offensive side of the ball, Sutha notched 1018 yards in the remaining ten games of the season, emerging as the team's most explosive receiving option, although he struggled near the end of the season as teams blanketed him with a safety and forced the Grey Ducks offense into a high volume short yardage passing game over the middle and looking to Reginald Shrubbery to create consistent gains on the ground. Rumours of a rift between the Grey Ducks quarterback at the time, Zisia Ojeisndiwoseodj, and Sutha emerged, with the former switching positions after the end of the season.
Sutha capped off his rookie DSFL season with a Pro Bowl selection at wide receiver and a post season appearance where he managed to record a touchdown in a disappointing Ultimini loss.

ISFL Draft
Thomas Sutha was taken with the first overall pick of the 2058 ISFL Draft (S43) draft by the Arizona Outlaws. Touting Sutha's athletic ability, locker-room leadership, and contributions in the film room, Sutha had been mocked consistently in the top 3 picks of the draft; even considering positional needs, the expert analysis community largely agreed that Sutha was a can't miss prospect, except for a notable C- grade given for the Outlaws having a log jam at the position and not being able to get Sutha on the field for at least another year.
S43
Thomas Sutha remained with the Minnesota Grey Ducks after being drafted with the first overall pick. With "Captain" Billy Stinkwater, Louis Blondin, and Benji Aguilera in front of him in the depth chart and Arizona making another Ultimus push, the team decided to let Sutha improve his game in the DSFL for another season. Sutha proved himself to be electric on a faltering Ducks team that went 4-10, finding a connection with Tua Turndaballova to start the season and earning Pro Bowl and First-team All-Pro honors and ending the season as the league leader in receiving yards. A bright spot on the 2058 (S43) team, Sutha promised to come back one more season for another push for the Ultimini.
S44
Thomas Sutha remained with the Minnesota Grey Ducks for a third straight season, with plans to be called up to the Arizona Outlaws during 2060 (S45). While the Minnesota Grey Ducks did end up with a better record than the previous season at 5-9, Sutha and Tua Turndaballova could not find their connection from last season and while leading the team in reception yards, did not have the season that Grey Duck fans had hoped for. Coming up on a season where the Outlaws fans were hoping to see Sutha do more, especially as the offensive captain for the season, Sutha was not able to replicate his Offensive Player of the Year performance. In a bright spot, Sutha commanded a large amount of the target share in the season but a fairly middling passing season for the Ducks did not translate into volume. Sutha entered the season with a focus on strength conditioning and physical play in order to prepare for the next level and looks to slot in as the WR3 in an Outlaws corps that includes Benji Aguilera and Billy Stinkwater as veterans in front of him.
Sutha made the Pro Bowl for the third straight season and DSFL First-team All-Pro for the second, and looks to compete for Offensive Rookie of the Year in the ISFL during 2060 (S 45).
S45
Thomas Sutha started for the Arizona Outlaws alongside fellow ISFL rookie and first round draft pick, Jordan Bamford. Together, tehse two rookie WRs help take the Outlaws to a 9-7 record, good for a playoff berth in a very competitive ASFC in the 2060 season. Sutha ended up second amongst rookie WRs in yards and touchdowns this season, and fourth among all skill position rookies and tied for second in touchdowns among all skill position rookies. With a fantastic Outlaws team that took the most rush snaps and fewest passes in the league, relying on Danny Nedelko who more than 350 greater rushing yards than second place, Sutha impressed fans and was a steady presence, showing his level of experience and leadership at the DSFL level.
Sutha credited the leadership of Benji Aguilera, Billy Stinkwater, and Danny Nedelko to help him gel and mesh within the team, learning to play at the pro level. Sutha also praised the hard work and dedication of Jordan Bamford to help energize and give the team his all.
Sutha enters the last year of his contract, but the team and Sutha's agent has pointed to clear talks and fans are confident that Sutha will be signing a long term deal to keep the exciting wide receiver on the team for his career.
