Louis Blondin (born April 15, 2029) was an American football linebacker. He played college football for Université Laval (ULaval).

Early years

Louis Blondin was born in Saguenay, Québec ,Canada. His father Alexandre Blondin was a statistics teacher at the local college. His mother Lydia Tremblay was a professional volleyball player. She represented Canada in the Olympics.

Like a lot of Québec born kids, Louis played hockey when he was younger. He really liked the sport and his dream was to become a professional hockey player playing for the Montreal Canadiens. Until a day where everything changed. His father had a statistics congress in Berlin and he took Louis with him. There he saw for the first time the game of his life the game of American football. It was the Fire Salamander against the New York Silverbacks. His dream changed and now he wanted to be a Quarterback in the ISFL. When he returned home Louis stopped playing hockey and started playing football. He was the starting quarterback for the Titans of Chicoutimi Séminaire. He was pretty good and promised a good career until a bad call from the referee changed the trajectory of his life. He got sacked in the last quarter of the final of a tournament. After that Louis was not able to throw the balls, he got the yips. The only thing he was still able to do is run fast and he still wanted to play football. So he became a linebacker and swore to make his dream come true. He was quickly scouted by the Limoilou Titans where he continued to play.

College career

After a successful cegep career, Louis Blondin hit a wall in college. Since his hockey days, he was used to be the best player on his team. When he got to Laval University, the best football college in Québec, he was not the best player. In fact, he was far from the best linebacker on the team. In his first year with the team, he did not play a single game. He spent the year getting better and training hard. It paid off and in his second year, he played the three last games of the season. He got three sacks in three games. For the playoff, the coach decided to play the more experienced player and Louis rode the bench. In his third year, Louis played every single game and his team won the championship. He got 14 sacks, 98 tackles, and 65 assists. Once again Louis Blondin felt like the best player on his team. He was ready for the DFSL

London started to season with five consecutive losses and finished the season with a record of 6 wins and 8 losses.

S34 : Louis Blondin had a terrible S34 season. After S33 I was sure to be the next great wide receiver. He trained hard all summer long and he was at maximum capacity. It was heard in the locker room that Louis with blaming general manager Sebster for his bad luck. Indeed the team were running plays that did not involve the superstar receiver. There were rumors that Louis Blondin asked the San Jose Sabercats to call him up soon so Louis did not have to deal with Sebster again. After his call up things were better between Louis and Sebster. Sebster even hired Louis Blondin has his co general manager. Louis will manage London while playing in San Jose.

The only facet of Louis Blondin play that got better during the s34 season is his kick-off return. In 2048 he had 198 yards and he got 764 in 2049. He got a touchdown and his longest return was 95 yards.

The season was fun and Louis really enjoyed it. He was happy with how the team welcomed it. He believes that he and Russ will be powerful players in the future of the Sabercat. He thinks that the team is headed in the right direction.

S36 : S36 was the second season of Louis Blondin in the big leagues. In one year Louis got way better and earned the confidence of his coaches. Last season Louis started 6 games and this season he started all 16 games. His number of receives went from 66 to 78. He earned the confidence of his quarterback! His average possession length went down, but it’s to be expected. He still has a respectable average of 10.7. It’s an automatic first down when he receives the ball. He beats his longest career receive with a reception of 75 yards. He doubles his number of touchdowns. He had 6 TD. One thing that he needs to work on is his number of drops. He needs to hold the ball better. This season he had 3 fumbles, that’s not really good. But Louis is just getting started and this season shows that he will only get better.

S37 : S37 was the third season of Louis Blondin in the big league. It’s the first season that he really found his stride. The small receiver is now 23 and ready to dominate. In the s37 season, Louis was the second receiver for the San Jose Sabercats. He had a total of 75 receptions compared to 78 last season. That was good for 882 yards. Louis Blondin's average went from 10.7 to 11.8 It’s not a record, he had the same number in his rookie season. His longest reception was 64 yards. It’s shorter that his best from last year. Louis had a total of 6 touchdowns, which is the same as last year. He was responsible for only one fumble in the whole season. That’s a huge improvement. He also reduces his number of dropped balls. In the s37 Louis was better in the small details of the game and he hopes to be better next season.

S38 : S38 was the fourth season of Louis in the ISFL. He continued his excellent progression. He received the ball 100 times for the first time in his career. He managed to gain 1214 yards. Which is more than double his best season. Louis is proud of his season but he thinks that he can be even better in S39. At the end of the season, Louis was a free agent and he decided to continue his career with the Arizona Outlaws. In a interview, he told the press that it was a hard decision to take, but he think that it was for the best. He will train hard during the summer.
