Sherwin Blue Jr (born March 5, 2029) is an American football Running Back for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Sherwin Blue Jr. was born in Tijuana Mexico to his father, Sherwin Blue Sr., a former professional basketball player, and his mother Jessica Blue, a talented sports agent. Sherwin grew up in Tijuana, Mexico with his family and loved both soccer and basketball growing up. Sherwin was always talented as a youth and had the competitive drive when it came to sports. Sherwin did not begin to play football until his Sophmore year of high school. Sherwin instantly took to the game using his height and boxout skills he developed in basketball to contest 50/50 balls downfield while using his footwork developed in soccer to improve his route running. Sherwin moved to the US when he was 17 as his parents knew he wanted to pursue football and not soccer and they felt this was the best opportunity for him. Sherwin rocketed up the recruiting board as his senior season saw him get 100 receptions, 1,400 yards and 8 touchdowns. College coaches knew he was raw but had all the potential in the world with his physical ability. Sherwin decided to commit to Arizona State University for his college days.

College career

Sherwin decided to take a medical redshirt year his freshman year as he suffered a severe ankle sprain during pre-season while playing soccer recreationally. While this raised concerns from the coaching and medical staff Sherwin made a deal with his coach that he would no longer play any sports outside of football and prove to the staff that they made the correct choice in offering him a scholarship. While this injury left no lasting damage to Sherwin's ankle the coaches played it safe and gave him a snap count his sophmore season which lead to a sharp decline in expected production. Sherwin had some big games against the PAC-12 rivals, including a 13 reception, 113 yard, 2 touchdown performance against state rivals the Arizona Wildcats enroute to the Sun Devils winning the state cup, his overall season left him with 74 catches for 822 yards and 7 touchdowns. Sherwin brought his concerns to the coaching staff and his snap count was liften his junior year where Sherwin would light the college world on fire posting an incredible statline of 123 receptions, 1,654 yards, and 15 touchdowns. Helping ASU to a 13-1 season and facing the Wiconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl where Sherwin would shoot his draft stock through the roof. Sherwin had only 5 catches this game but had 140 yards and 3 touchdowns. Sherwin would declare for the draft after only 4 total played seasons of football under his belt.

Sherwin was claimed off of waivers post draft by the Kansas City Coyotes, while he was unable to go to his home town team in the Luchadores Sherwin was very excited to go to the pass heavy team. "I think there's no better way to showcase my talent than going to the Coyotes, Queen Elizabeth II can sling that thing and I'm stoked to get to work with her and the rest of the crew like my guy Johnny Blaze Jr" Sherwin had a wonderful first season with the Coyote's starting early against the London Royals where in Week 1 Sherwin would get 10 receptions for 168 yards and a touchdown, despite the stat sheet telling you the Coyote's dominated this game it was the Royals who came out victorious 20-10. This would remain a pattern for Blue's Coyotes as they started the season 0-5 before getting their first victory against the Dallas Birddogs where Blaze Blue put up a combined 15 catches for 170 yards and a score. Dapping one another up they had the chemistry to shine but were unable to win out the season finishing with a league worst 4-10 record. "We were in a lot of those games, it's all about finishing though. Gotta be able to step it up when it matters." Sherwin would end the season with 104 catches for 1,430 yards and 6 scores. The only receiver in the league to break 100 Sherwin worked in the pre-draft process and was open to working out the backfield. Sherwin would be drafted in the second round to the league champs Arizona Outlaws, one pick after his teammate Blaze. Sherwin after this has swapped to the Running Back position but is excited to maintain his receiving skills.

S38

In 2053 (S38) Sherwin adapted to his new position of running back and was an instant star in the Kansas City Coyotes offense. With recently converted and traded for Quarterback Creg Jerrith IV in the backfield Blue was asked to take up a lot of the offensive work load. This was shown in a week one 28-14 victory over London Royals in which Sherwin had 17 touches for 130 total yards and a touchdown. Sherwin would end his season with an incredible 1,934 scrimmage yards and 13 total touchdowns. Helping the Kansas City Coyotes to an Ultimini victory in which he won player of the game. "This is what it's all about man, winning championships. I'm doing it here and my team the Arizona Outlaws are doing it in the big leagues. Gold runs through my veins!" Sherwin would go on to win the DSFL Most Outstanding Player Award but would fail to win league MVP losing out to Eric Belmont after splitting the offensive vote with his quarterback Creg Jerrith IV. "Can't be mad about that one man, Belmont was insane this season so hats off to him, I got the ring anyhow so works out for me!" Sherwin was told by his ISFL team that he would remain down in development for one final season and looked forward to the chance of redeeming himself.
