Eric Belmont (born February 20, 2030) was an American football cornerback for the Norfolk Seawolves. He played college football for Baylor University (BU) before being drafted by the Norfolk Seawolves in the 2052 DSFL Draft (S37).

Early years

Eric Belmont was born to Trevor and Illyana Belmont in Burlington, Vermont. From an early age Eric was interested in playing football, starting with an interest in Wide Reciever before eventually making the switch to Corner Back in 6th grade. Once Eric started his freshman year in high school he had already solidified himself as one of the top Corner Backs in his state for his age group, and it showed when he lead the freshman team to the playoffs with 40 Tackles and 6 Interceptions. He would continue to lead his team to the playoffs his Sophmore and Junior years but always seemed to fall just short until his senior year. By his senior year Belmont was in the top 100 players in the country, he had already made his commitment to USC and too top off a magical year, he finally won a state championship, being named season and playoffs MVP that year.

College career

By the time Belmont commited to Baylor he was a top 100 prospect in the nation, but obviously college ball was a lot different then high school ball, which meant that his freshman year he was spending most of his time coming off the bench. That doesn't mean he wasn't still able to contribute though, finishing his freshamn year with 15 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 4 interceptions, and 18 pass deflections. By his sophmore year he had earned his spot as a starter, and that's when all his hard work really started showing off, he finished his sophmore year with 35 tackles, 8 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and 36 pass deflections. In his 3 years at Baylor his team was never able to reach the championship, but that didn't discourage Belmont from continuing to work hard and make himself a better player and teammate. Belmont truly believes that his hard work and team first mentality is why he currently has a chance at making it in the ISFL.
