Tingis Pingis (born February 12, 2029) is an American football safety who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Rutgers (LVU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

In Tingis Pingis' early years, he was a boy fascinated by everything sports. Being from Latvia, he was always brought up to enjoy soccer and basketball as his two main sports. However, he ended up way too tall for soccer so he decided to pursue basketball. His father and mother were both shoemakers so he always got the best basketball shoes. He was one of the best players in his town but his parents ended up moving to the United States. While he continued to play basketball, he fell in love with the game of football more than anything. With his parents both getting new jobs, him and his new friends would always go to the field and run one on ones in order to be the best possible player for high school. All throughout high school he was the top safety through hard work which eventually led him to an offer at Rutgers to play football.

College career

In Tingis' freshman year he did not play all too much. There were some absolute superstars ahead of him on the depth chart but just like in his early childhood he worked harder than everyone. His sophomore year he was a rotation player and logged an interception in garbage time and twenty tackles. His junior year, he was able to gain more playing time and even became a starter. He had 3 interceptions through the first 5 games but unfortunately he tore his ACL and had to sit the rest of the season out. In his senior year, Tingis Pingis was determined to be back stronger than ever and started every possible game leading Rutgers to a bowl game. In his senior year, he had 7 interceptions, 80 tackles, and 3 sacks proving that he was able to play at the next level. He ended up being inducted into the Rutgers ring of honor.

Season 37

After a rough season in S36, Tingis Pingis' coaches decided to move him around a bit on the field. Because they were able to draft so strongly in the secondary, the coaches in Norfolk decided to move Pingis to the safety position. While he still got burnt on the daily, the move allowed Pingis to show off his incredible speed and playmaking skills. He increased every statistic from the season prior other than passes defended. Norfolk as a team had a tough season, finishing with the worst record in the Southern division but with a lot of youth and energy. As always, the locker room was amazing and the wins always overruled the feelings after losses. We fought every single game of the season and while we did not always come out on top we sure came close. Tingis had a really fun season and felt tons of improvement was shown both individually and from the team.

Season 38

After S37, Tingis Pingis had an identity crisis and felt like he needed to make a change in order to be the best he could be. He went to the government office to legally change his name to Creg Jerrith IV. Jerrith also wanted to change the position he played to quarterback in order to be the center of attention! With this, his old Norfolk team did not want him anymore and traded him to Kansas City. Kansas City ended up dominating the season going 13-1 and winning the Ultimini. Jerrith played a major role in this playing MVP level football in his first season as a quarterback. While he appreciates everything Norfolk has done for him, he is super happy to be on the Coyotes for another season. Jerrith lead the league in passing yards while throwing a respectable 25 touchdowns and one of the best quarterback ratings in the entire league. Jerrith will be considered in the yearly MVP race and will lead Kansas City next season to the playoffs once again.

Season 39

In his second season with Kansas City, Creg Jerrith IV improved on his performance from the prior season. Jerrith played at a true MVP level throwing for 3464 yards with 26 touchdowns and only 8 interceptions. Among starting quarterbacks, he lead the league with a 103 passer rating, showing his ability to play good ball. The Coyotes weren't nearly as dominant as the season before since they lost some big contributors, but Jerrith was able to lead them to the playoffs and a 9-5 record still. In the playoffs, the Coyotes won a tough game against Minnesota in the semifinals as Jerrith threw for 230 yards and a touchdown on only 18 attempts. In the Ultimini, Creg continued his msitake free football throwing for 262 yards and two touchdowns on only 20 attempts. With this season in the books, Cregory ends his DSFL career with back to back Ultimini trophies and a possible MVP award. He will move onto the ISFL with Cape Town and look to bring a trophy to them as well.

Season 40

In Season 40, Cregory finally made it to the big leagues with the Cape Town Crash. The Crash were in the midst of a seven season playoff drought and the Jerrith man was determined to stop it there. Luckily, he had some amazing backup to help him. Running back Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin had a MVP performance of a season, being second all time in all-purpose touchdowns in a season with 28. Additionally, the defense stepped up big, allowing only the 5th fewest points in the league and the 3rd fewest yards. Creg had a season worthy of Rookie of the Year. He was decently turnover free with a 3:1 TD:INT ratio, although 4 of his 7 picks went the other way for 6. The Crash stopped the playoff drought and made the 3rd seed with a 10-6 record. A tough game against Chicago in the wildcard sent them home but Creg was super proud of the team. They have a lot to build on in the coming seasons!

Season 41

Season 41 was a season that Creg waited forever to have. The Cape Town Crash are finally Ultimus champions after rebranding from the Liberty. The franchise in total hadn't wont the title for over 25 seasons and this was finally the best season they have had in a while. There were so many long tenured players on the team that it was so great. In a record setting performance in the conference finals, Jerrith IV went 31/32 on completions which set an ISFL record for best completion % in the playoffs by a landslide. In the Ultimus game, Jerrith IV put on a show, throwing for almost 300 yards and two touchdowns. Although he had two interceptions, he led a last second drive down the field for the game winning field goal. Over the season, Jerrith IV had a better season than his rookie year, increasing his touchdowns and lowering his interceptions. Hopefully he'll be able to make a pro bowl and Cape Town can repeat!

Season 42

After the most successful season of his career, Cregory was coming off an Ultimus and thought that this could be the season where he wins another. Unfortunately, the Crash got off to a slow start and that included Creg. Through eight games the Crash were 4-4 and he had 9 touchdowns to 9 interceptions while not being efficient. They were still leaning on the run game more so that made it easy for Creg to not have the best season. As the season went on, the trend continued until the last few weeks of the season where Jerrith made huge strides. While he threw more interceptions than normal he also eclipsed 30 touchdowns for the first time in his career. Unfortunately, the Crash were not able to repeat as they suffered a loss in the wild card game with the offense not able to get anything going. They still managed 10 wins and it looks like a bright future for Jerrith.
