Lane Jacobs Frost (born January 1, 1999) is an American football coach who is the interim head coach for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). Before coaching, Frost played for the Portland Pythons, in two stints, and the Minnesota Grey Ducks, in one. He didn't collect any stats at all, and retired before he had a snap.
Frost became the Portland Pythons wide receivers coach the year after he retired, and had that position for four seasons before signing a contract to be the offensive coordinator for five years. He finished his stint in Portland and was hired as the first head coach of the London Royals, where he held the position for seven years, and leading them to their first Ultimini in 2039 (S24). He would later be inducted the the London Royals Hall of Fame for his 52 and 46 record, before leaving for Kansas City. He would later be inducted into the Ohio State Hall of Fame as well, for his efforts as a player for their program.
Frost became the interim head coach of the Kansas City Coyotes eight weeks into the 2048 (S33) season, after head coach, French Fry, developed an illness that forced him to step away from the game. Before becoming the interim head coach, Frost held the position of offensive coordinator for the Kansas City since the 2043 (S28) season.
Frost is the father of five children: Cillian, Lane, Kellan, Ryder, and Clyde. Lane and Kellan both play football in the DSFL, Lane plays for the Minnesota Grey Ducks and Kellan plays for the Norfolk Seawolves. His oldest son, Cillian, is a retired professional hockey player, and his youngest son, Clyde, plays for the Florida Flamingos in the miLPBE. Ryder, his fourth son, sadly passed away in a car accident in 2048 (S33).
