Early years
Dan Dandrews was born in Cleveland, Ohio to father Andrew Dandrews and mother Katie Katherinson. Andrew Dandrews was a professional lacrosse player who was all-pro at Boston College and later played for Revelstoke Arctic Fire of the SLL before the league folded and Andrew moved to Cleveland to be a sports analyst. Andrew and Katie originally met at a local football game where Katie was working as a media consultant so it seems Dan was destined to love football from the start. Dan played a little Lacrosse in middle school but it was pretty obvious from the start that his real passion was football. He played DE throughout high school and really loved it but dabbled in OL occasionally to fill the team's need and already seemed like a pro at shutting down the other team. Despite being a less flashy role, it was clear that he was the real star on the field and won multiple MVP honors throughout the four years before setting his sights on his college career.
College career
Picking a college was an easy decision for Dan, he knew he had to play for his Dad's alma mater Boston College. Despite playing most of his high school career as a DE, Boston College needed an OL more so he jumped into that role for his whole academic career. As a freshman,.Dan set a record for getting 100 pancakes without allowing a single sack and he was very quickly becoming one of the best offensive lineman in the college football system. During his softmore year he set another record as being the first offensive lineman to score 3 fumble recovery touchdowns in a single season. Going into his junior year there were some big expectations for him but the last two seasons were less of a splash but he still considered himself a pancake expert for both seasons. Boston College improved slightly throughout his time there and were 4-8 in his first season and ended up going 10-2 in his senior year, he may not have been an MVP in college but he still showed the scouts what he's made of.

DSFL career
2055
After getting done with his final season with Boston College Dan Dandrews was eligible to play out the last few games and the playoffs of the DSFL's 40th season. After getting picked up on waivers by the Bondi Beach Buccaneers, Dan only ended up getting the start in the playoffs but what a playoffs it was. After playing only two games in the DSFL, Dan Dandrews had won his first Ultimini.
2056
After being a waiver pickup in season 40, Dan was eligible to go into the DSFL's season 41 draft. Dan was then drafted round 2 pick 11 by the Minnesota Grey Ducks. Dan went on to be a starting Offensive lineman for the Minnesota Grey Ducks throughout the whole season 41 season. After a disappointing preseason where they went 1-3 in the four games, they ended up doing a little better in the regular season and ended with an 8-6 record which included winning the last 4 games of they season. They unfortunately just barely missed the playoffs, losing the spot to the London Royals who had the same record bow won the tie breaker. Dan himself had a solid rookie season, having 56 pancakes with only 1 sack allowed. His first season showed his potential at offensive lineman and even though he didn't win any awards, he got some scouts interested. During the offseason Dan was then drafted by the Yellowknife Wraiths of the ISFL.
