They started off the regular season with a huge win at home over the [[Minnesota Grey Ducks]]. Montain started the game, but didn't appear to be able to beat Minnesota's stacked offensive line recording zero tackles and one penalty. In a defensive struggle that saw Montain finish with two tackles and a sack, the Seawolves managed to drive to the Dallas 29 and kick the game winning field goal with two seconds left on the clock. In his second to last game with Dallas, Tyler was able to play against his brother, [[Asher Montain]]. Neither of the Montain brothers had great games, with Tyler recording only two tackles. Both brothers did, however, receive a 15 yard penalty. The last game of the season was played away against the [[Kansas City Coyotes]] where the Birddogs won 31-23.
