Retirements
Draft
The 2060 ISFL Draft was held on 11 April, 2060. The Chicago Butchers selected defensive end Doctor Who with the first overall pick.
Rule changes
The following rule changes were approved by a committee consisting of ISFL general managers and Head Office, to come into effect for the 2060 season and beyond:
- If a GM’s player is part of the relevant league's draft class, the team must use their highest second-round pick to select the player. Any ISFL GM whose player is selected in the ISFL draft using a Round 2 GM pick must remain in their GM role with the team for one/two full seasons (8/16 weeks) after they are drafted, otherwise they will forfeit their first round pick in the next occurring ISFL draft. If the team does not have a first round pick, the penalty will be calculated at the discretion of HO. Under exceptional circumstances, teams can request a HO vote for an exemption from this rule to be reviewed on a case by case basis, with a unanimous vote minus one member being required to pass.
Preseason
Training camps for the 2055 season started on 01 August, 2060 league-wide, with the first preseason game being held on 29 August, 2060 between the Colorado Yeti and the Yellowknife Wraiths.
Regular season
The regular season's 112 games, played over a 16-week schedule, began on 26 September, 2060.
