Bidding process
Rosters
Federation heads were permitted to select players based on birthplace, which assigned them to a specific WFC region. Players are also allowed one transfer in their career, moving their eligibility from one region to another – this does not get used if the WFC Commissioners re-align regions and move a player's eligibility.
Final rosters were required to be announced and ratified prior to the start of the tournament.
