Early years
Challah Famer. Destined for greatness. Destined for that bread.
Born to a pair of athletes in Brisket and Gefilte Famer, Challah quickly dominated the American football scene in Germany.
At the age of merely 14, Challah was drafted to the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns to take over quarterbacking duties for the team. Legal? Dubiously. Effective? Unquestionably.
In Challah's first three seasons with the team, he led the Unicorns to GFL championships, and ultimately moved up to the Stuttgart Surge of the EFL, repeating his success with another championship.
Satisfied with his accomplishments in Germany, Challah set his sights on greener pastures. He set a path for the leading league in the world -- the ISFL.
First, however, he would make a quick stop at Hochschule fur Gestaltung Schwabisch Gmünd in his hometown to study ecological packaging design. Challah is a thoughtful man. Can he save the world and sling the pigskin like it's noone's business?
Yes and yes. Also he enjoys knitting.
College career
Challah's first foray in university was to repackage toothpaste. You know how you get to that last bit of toothpaste in the tube but you just can't squeeze it out, even though there's still a bunch stuck to the sides?
Yeah Challah was all about fixing this. Turns out his new sustainable toothpaste package solved for a multi-billion dollar waste problem in the packaging industry. He partnered with a manufacturer to mass produce the new packaging, then open-sourced the patent after the initial run. The hydrohomie the world needs, that's Challah for ya.
Afterwards, he decided to rethink the world of all those little twist ties that go on bread packages. Aren't those things annoying? Like what do you do with them after you get rid of the bread package? It all seems so wasteful.
Turns out, you can use leftover bits of jellyfish once they pass by drying and rehydrating them. They twist real nice, have integrity to hold packaging together, and are naturally biodegradable. Win, win, win -- that's what Challah is all about.
Oh and HfG does not have a football team, so this was a great opportunity for Challah to build up his hand dexterity through package design (and knitting).
