Bay "Hammer" Webb (born July 19, 2028) is an American football defensive end for the Dallas Birddogs of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). Drafted in the First round, Seventh overall to the New York Silverbacks of the Internation Simulation Football League in S37

Early years

Born in Hamilton, Ontario (The Hammer) Bailey "Bay" Webb was raised in a "football family" Enjoying the family loved teams The Raiders and the 2 hometown teams the Tigercats and the McMaster Mauraders. Bay lived in Hamilton up till he was in grade 6 then moved to Selkirk, Ontario in Haldimand County, He would go to high school at Cayuga Secondary School for the Warriors football program where he would lead the team to 3 league titles(Would have been 4 if the team had not folded in the 4th season and was forced to merge with ex-rivals Hagersville, making the team ineligible for play). In his "victory lap" year in high school, Webb broke the school Single game, Season and All-Time sack records. That record-smashing season was enough to get McMasters scout's attention-getting Webb a scholarship with the team the following season. Webb helped save the football program in Cayuga from folding with the help of teammates and students at Hagersville Secondary school, forming the "Warricanes"

College career

Bay Webb saw the field very few times in his freshman year, only seeing reps on Kickoff and Special teams, Recording 4.5 Tackles. sophomore year opened up a lot more playing opportunities. Seniors declaring for either the CFL OR NFL draft at the time paved the way for Webb to succeed. Bumped up to 2nd string Defensive End Webb shined and didn't stay second string for long, After the first 2 games of his sophomore season Webb had racked up 6 Tackles, 2 For Loss and 2 Sacks, 1 for each game. After his promotion to first string due to the injury of his teammate at the time Webb helped bring the McMaster Mauraders that year to not only the playoffs but helped bring the team to hoist the Vanier Cup. Webb's Junior and Senior years were nothing short of brilliant other than a few minor injuries in his 3rd year, The marauders had made the playoffs both years but were eliminated in the Semi-Finals.

Professional career

DSFL career

Drafted By The Dallas BirdDogs in the 37th Season in the Third Round Seventeenth overall, Bay Webb spent his entire DSFL career (2 Seasons) With Dallas, where he showed complete loyalty to the team, leading the team in sacks both years he was with the team and once lead the league in sacks(Not including Linebackers) Webb became general manager of Dallas in his second season with Dallas, with some big shoes to fill he helped lead the team to a record of 7-7 and made the playoffs where they would be eliminated in the first round. Webb was called up by his ISFL team the very next season, and he still manages Dallas.

===First Season=== (S36) Bay Webb's first season with the Dallas Birddogs will be one he will remember for a lifetime, Not a great season overall for the Birddogs but it was one of the kind of seasons that truly bring a team together, Webb recorded Nine sacks and five forced fumbles was hoping to make a run for DSFL Defensive player of the year before hitting a bit of a "Sack Hiatus" after recording a sack in every game until midseason. Webb was named Defensive Captain for the Birddogs for showing great leadership qualities and was hoping it was enough to pull the team together. Dallas finished this season Three and Eleven. Webb hopes to make not only a big splash for his new ISFL team but also help bring Dallas to victory. Game records for his debut season were 2 sacks against the Portland Pythons in Week 5, Six Tackles against the Norfolk Seawolves in Week 3 and one forced fumble plus fumble recovery against Tijuana in Week one.

===Second Season=== (S37) Webb's second season saw him take on more responsibility, he recently took on the role of team general manager for the Dallas Birddogs which meant Webb was really going to have to buckle down and put one hundred and ten percent into the team. Webb's goals were not only to surpass his stats from last season but help the Birddogs reach the playoffs, and he did, Webb wasn't able to surpass any of his stats from his first season but he was able to match his sack total which in his mind worked just fine since he has always considered that his most important statistic. With Webb taking the helm as general manager he was able to help the Birddogs into the playoffs where they would be knocked out of the conference championship by Bondi Beach, something he won't forget for a long time. Unfortunately for the fresh general manager, his roster would be taking a massive hit in the call-ups at the end of the season so they were going to have to buckle down, not only were some of his star performers on the team, called up to their ISFL teams but Webb himself was going to be called up to New York so it was time to start working hard on replacements. As a player, Webb was able to compete as he wished and "left everything on the field" and luckily for him, he wouldn't miss out on the playoffs two seasons in a row.

ISFL career

===Third Season=== (S38) In Webb's first season in the ISFL, he was humbled very quickly, realizing he wasn't going to easily "manhandle" his opponents as he did with his previous team (Dallas) Webb needed to put in a lot more work and effort to show his teammates he was the real deal. This hard work and determination landed Webb the defensive captaincy role on the team in his first season, unfortunately, the hard work just wasn't enough to help Webb stand out amongst the other rookies in the league, so around mid-season, Webb took the time to reach out to his coaches and think about what should be done, the decision for Webb to make the switch to linebacker next season was ultimately chosen. That wasn't stopping Webb and the Silverbacks from performing though, the silverbacks would go on to make the playoffs where they would ultimately lose to the Arizona Outlaws in the semi-finals.

===Fourth Season=== (S39) In Webb's fourth season he got a perspective on the field, Webb wasn't happy with his performance at the defensive end position so he requested a position change that would hopefully help benefit the New York Silverbacks. Webb moved to the Linebacker position and went from averaging around thirty to thirty-eight tackles a season to a whopping one hundred and seven tackles his first season as a linebacker, hopefully, this change of scenery will be a boost of energy for Webb as he hopes to really shine in this new role. The Silverbacks finished the season six-nine-and-one, missing the playoffs, Bay Webb responded "Yeah missing the playoffs isn't the outcome we had expected at all and hopefully, it really drives everyone this offseason to just go one hundred percent out there and really put in the work we need to win ourselves an Ultimus because not only do we deserve it but the fans deserve it, they've been with us for a long time supporting us and we'd like to do our part and give them something to cheer for"

===Fifth Season=== (S40) Season number five for Bay Webb wasn't anything to look at, the Silverbacks just couldn't seem to get the ball rolling, finishing the season four and twelve the Silverbacks would ultimately miss the playoffs. On the positive side, the Silverbacks were on the good side of turning things around, they had the weapons they needed they just needed a few minor adjustments and they'd be back as contenders. Webb finished the season with the most tackle in the ISFL and was a candidate for first team. Webb would have to put in a lot of work in the offseason to help the Silverbacks get to that playoff spot they desperately wanted. Bay Webb had this to say after the season-ending loss to Arizona "It's a shame, we really have given everything we have for this team and we just couldn't get the job done, and we really hate to disappoint not only our coaching staff and general managers but also the fans, you know they fork out a lot of money to see this team perform at its best and we feel as we haven't held our side of the deal, so all we can do is come back next season ready to play"

===Sixth Season=== (S41) It was another disappointing season for Webb and the New York Silverbacks, finishing the season with a record of seven and nine the Silverbacks missed the playoffs yet again. Underneath all of the losses and crippling pain of missing the playoffs yet again Webb had some personal victories that he would hopefully use to his advantage next season with the Silverbacks. Webb broke his career high in sacks this season, only being able to rack in five in his previous seasons with the team, he also got a career-high in forced fumbles with five, with those two upticks in his tackling stats he's hoping he can help turn those extra sacks and forced fumbles into more opportunities for the Silverbacks offence. As is tradition at the end of every season we manage to track down Bay Webb and ask him a question, when asked about how the season went Webb had this to say. "You know I sound like a broken record at this point and I just want to apologize because I feel like I'm giving the fans and my teammate false hope, I know not only is it my job to really help this defence but it's also a duty of mine to make sure that my teammates are holding their side of the deal and I expect the same from them when I'm slacking on my side of things."

===Seventh Season=== (S42) Webb's seventh season in the ISFL was a bit more promising than the previous, but it didn't start that way, it looked like the New York Silverbacks were going to have "another one of those years" The season started off with two back to back loses, but quickly followed by two back to back wins for the Silverbacks, their season was a flip of a coin at this point but they all managed to pull themselves together and really turn the season around, the Silverback rallied for what they would consider one of the best seasons they have in a long time, finishing second in their conference with eleven wins and five loses. Webb would finish the season at a bit of a slower pace than usual with seventy-eight tackles and fourteen sacks but on a good note, his teammates were very successful which would explain his lower-than-usual stats. Will season Forty-three be the season Webb and the Silverbacks bring it home?

===Eighth Season=== (S43) Boy oh boy was this a great season, may not have been the ending that everyone on the New York Silverbacks had hoped for but it was amazing nonetheless. The Silverbacks took the league by storm in season forty three and showed absolutely no mercy and it was an amazing season for Bay Webb who had finally gotten the Defensive Captaincy for the Silverbacks he had been waiting for for several seasons. Bay Webb and the Silverbacks went on to clinch the ASFC and would face the Arizona Outlaws in the second round of the ISFL playoffs where they would be victorious over their rivals and would meet Baltimore in the Ultmius Finals. Unfortunately, it didn't end the way they wanted and they fell short of the victory, Balitmore would go on and celebrate their win. Lots of positives looking up from here though, the Silverbacks looked like they were turning things in the right direction and will be looking to make another Ultimus appearance next season.
