Coming in as a rookie, Zayne Dangle and the rest of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers knew they were in the midst of rebuilding, but with the hopes that maybe they would turn heads and surprise people. The season started the with a tough loss to Norfolk 26-27 that really set the tone for the season. Wins over London, Portland and Dallas followed that and the team was sitting at 3-1 and thought that maybe they could pull something amazing off. Dangle accounted for 144, 93 and 79 yards in the three wins and was all the buzz around the league. Sadly, the rest of the season was hit or miss and Dangle really fell off hard. In the second game of the season against Dallas, Dangle only managed 29 yards and was a non factor. The team managed to miss the playoffs, needing to win the last game of the season where they fell flat. It was on to the ISFL draft for Dangle.
