McDripsen McDropsen (born February 7, 2040) is an American football offensive lineman who is currently playing for the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. He played college football for Johns Hopkins (JHU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks as a member of the S47 Draft Class.

Early years

McDripsen McDropsen, PHD, born to the Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch McDropsens, was the largest child ever born in the small town hospital. Born as the eldest son into a family of professors, the expectation was that he would continue the legacy and use his intellect to enrich the youth of Wales. During his early years, he fell in love with rugby, citing the fast pace of play and physicality as "incredibly engrossing". His incredible intellect was imparative to the current understanding of statistics, which allowed him to graduate from Cardiff University in Wales (where his parents both had become tenured professors) at the age of 17. Unsatisfied with academics alone, and missing the encapsulating nature of rugby, he wanted to challenge himself both physically and mentally. He accepted an opportunity to become the first "professor player" in NCAA D3 history at Johns Hopkins University on June 30th, 2058, 2 days before his 18th birthday. He moved to the United States and started classes as the Professor Of Statistics.

College career

While arriving at Johns Hopkins, coaches and scholars agreed that the task of playing American Football, an entirely new sport to McDripsen, as well as juggling the responsibilities of a first year professor was going to be a detriment to performance in both aspects of this young trailblazers life. And while they were not entirely incorrect, it didn't take long for Professor McDropsen to establish expertise on the football field. Having growing up playing "hooker", otherwise known as the 2, in rugby throughout his life, he quickly adapted to the center position. He was the model of growth in his "freshman" season, starting the last 5 games. For the season, he allowed 4 sacks and 18 QB pressures. Off the field, he continued to prove he was the sharpest statistical mind in the world. The summer in between what would turn out to be his only 2 collegiate football seasons would prove to be pivotal, as new research had enlightened the university to assesing football in dot form for statistical analysis. This connected McDripsens two passions, which gave both the chance to thrive. Off the football field, this new style of statistical research was revolutionary, which led to Professor McDropsen winning the Global Teacher Prize in 2059. On the football field, he became much more vocal with the team and was named Captain. A rolemodel on the offensive line, he allowed 0 sacks, 2 pressures and was named a D3 All-American for the 2059-2060 season. After this season, and feeling as though he has achieved all he can academically, Professor McDropsen resigned from Johns Hopkins University, and finished his collegiate football career on September 26th, 2060. He remains the only center in NCAA history to have never recorded a single penalty.

On November 25th, 2060 McDripsen received a call from the GM of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers, informing him that he had been picked off of waivers as an early entrant into the upcoming DSFL draft. Rumor has it that fellow Welshman Wynn Jenkins was crucial in connecting the head office with his countryman. They had previously met at Outdoor school in year 8, where McDripsen was the lead botany instructor.
