Icy was sent down to the minors after being drafted, where he was picked up by the Milwaukee Swans in the 5th round of the MiLPBE draft. In Icy's first season of baseball, he played all 100 games of the season at Left Field. However, most of his success came on offense, where he hit 15 home runs and had 62 runners batted in. His power hitting got him enough votes to make the MilPBE All Star Team that year.
