Early years
Dormo Bloodhand was raised in a big family environment, constantly surrounded by extended family and thus always fighting to be recognized. As he hit his growth spurt, he began acting out in the streets. Being bigger than his peers, he fell in with some shady deals, culminating in a close call with police. He was put on probation, with his only allowances being school-related activity. He found himself begging for any club or sport to take him on, which the head football coach reluctantly agreeing. Dormo found that, despite being uncoordinated and unfamiliar with the rules, he loved the idea of putting on 'armor' and being allowed to hit things. He trained up on the rules and techniques, becomming a powerful force for the defense his senior year, leading his team to their first-ever playoff berth off a 4 sack, 2 forced fumble (1td) game. The team was drummed out early, but the performance and passion Dormo exhibited put him on the radar of some small-time colleges.
College career
As a true freshman, Dormo struggled to find the field due to the increase in talent, experience and physical tools that his opponents now had. Playing in relief in blowout games and as an occasional rotation player, Dormo finished his first year with 6 tackles (2 TFL) and .5 sacks. Sophmore year saw a massive uptick in the defender, with an increased focus on technique on the field as well as a driven effort to bulk up in the weight room. Dormo increased his rotational duty, finding the field and totalling 20 tackles (5 TFL), 4 sacks and a forced fumble. His season was cut short by a concussion, but the impact early in the season allowed the team to shore up the defensive tackle position for future years. Junior year saw Dormo finally crack the starting lineup, as the graduation of the upperclassmen gave Dormo the green light to start. Dormo finished the year with 42 tackles (10 TFL), 6.5 sacks and another forced fumble, becoming a solid attacker in the middle. Dormo chose to forego his senior year in favor of the draft, seeking better training and the chance to make some money at the highest level of play.
