Ted Stevens (born February 1, 1990) is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Birddogs of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

"Ted Stevens was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to a pair of die hard football fans. He caught his first pass at 4 and recieved his first signed football at 12. He played for his local high school team before eventually finding his way onto the field of the Razorbacks as part of a high school tour. From there he knew he was born to be a Razorback. He worked hard improving his grades to he could make up for players with lower GPAs (to keep the team average up). He studied for the SAT to make him a real academic threat as well. He sent a letter every week to the coach of the Razorbacks and even recieved a few in return. Ted Stevens really had a shot. Until, he and a few buddies were out partying in the foothills of the Ozarks when they hit a deer. Ted was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He was lucky, as he tumbled around on the ground he went up a soft grassy embankment. What could have been a fatal accident left him with a broken leg and a constant pain in his neck. His parents were furious, but he redoubled his efforts to recooperate. However, without him on the team the average GPA for the team dropped too low and the football program was shuttered for the year. "

College career

"A couple of paragraphs summarising their college performances. For example:

Ted Stevens got accepted to Arkansas on an academic scholarship and hobbled into his college dormroom still in a cast from the accident the previous winter. His leg was finally healing but the pain in his neck was caused by an unknown source. His cast got cut off the 1st day of the football season and he spent the rest of that day on his feet in great pain cheering on the razorbacks. Between classes he found time to massage his muscles and do serious amounts of physical therapy. He spent all of winter break working on rebuilding muscle in his legs and that spring he began to play intermural pickup football games on camus. By the summer, Ted Stevens was fighting just as hard as when he was in High School but now with considerable more attention from fellow student athletes. On the reccomendation of a friend he popped his head into the head coaches office and introduced himself in person. He was given a chance to try out based on the sheer amount of ""will and gumption"" he showed. While not the best wide receiever, he showed promise and went on to reliably score touchdowns. His fine academic skills also encouraged his teammates and lead to the highest average GPA in Razorback history."
