Early years
"Richard Mansher grew up in Vancouver British Columbia and was one of the top players ever to exit from Canada. When he was playing football in elementary school, offenses stood no chance as he built a wall in the safety role. He was able to dominate games defensively growing up using his speed and vision to make quick tackles and went on to win championships several times. Opposing offensive players from other schools in Canada, especially quarterbacks began to fear him due to his fast hands. His parents were supportive and raised him to be a multi sport athlete as he played hockey and baseball cat a competitive level. He grew up eating a lot of Asian foods of which Sushi is his favourite. He also traveled to Seattle regularly to watch his favourite football team play, especially his favourite player whose name is similar to Richard Manshers but is a cornerback not safety. "
College career

This put him into a more prominent role on the team in his third year taking more game time and play input than others. His team would go on to make the playoffs this year after a couple of years not making it, and although the lost right away, the taste of competition made the team come back fierce the next year. The next year he grabbed almost an interception a game as his team nearly went undefeated during the regular season. His team would go on to dominate the playoffs that year with Mansher making some game breaking tackles and interceptions. In the finals specifically he scored the winning pick six with no time left on the clock for the win.
