Quavious "Big Pump" McGrady (born December 28, 2016) was an American football wide receiver for the Tijuana Luchadores of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Quavious "Quavo" McGrady was born in Houston, Texas into a family with 8 other siblings. He was the ninth child to be born into the family, with his father would call him "The Ninth Wonder" due to his impressive athleticism. With such a large family, Quavious and his brothers and sisters would help their parents out by earning money themselves to help provide. Being the youngest, Quavious had a hard time looking for places that would hire him at his younger ages, so decided to think out of the box and earn money by challenging people to races and athletic challenges. His largest come up from this hustle was challenging kids from a private estate from the other side of town he could hurdle their father's ferrari , which earned him $200. Having to work at an early age help Quavious develop a hustle that we would apply to sports in the future. At Bellaire High School, Quavious was an "all season" athlete. In the fall, there was football, in the winter he had basketball, and track in the spring. He played both wide reciever and safety for the football team, and was able to carry them to the state finals, but fell short due to a pass interference that was never called. On the track team Quavious particioated in the High Jump, Discus Throw, the 100m sprint and both the 100m and 200m sprint. Quavious duid not receive any awards in these categories, but claims to have only done track to stay in shape for football and basketball. While playing on the basketball team, Quavious played both power forward and Center due to a growth spurt he received his sophmore year. Though Quavious was the biggest on the team, he was also the fastest with the best handles, and Basketball IQ, so the coach would allow him to bring the ball upcourt to take advantage of this deadly match up as a "Point Center" . This advantage would allow Quavious to help bring his team to the quarter finals, but sadly had his team disqualified due to multiple opposing teams and families demanding to "see Quavious' birth certificate" believing he was not actually in high school. Quavious' family failed to due this due to losing the documents in a basement flooding. After graduating Quavo did not decide to go to college immediately, but instead help his father with his up and coming barbershop that gained traction after Odell Beckham Jr came through for a haircut. But after reminicisng how playing sports made him feel and a heart-to-heart conversation with his father, Quavious decided to take his talent and advance to the next level.

College career

Since Quavous was not directly recruited to Louisiana State University's football team, he needed to rely on walk on tryouts to join. With Quavious' athletic ability, coordination and stature from a second growth spurt his freshman year, he was able to capture the attention of scouts immediately. Louisiana State University;s football team was low on wide receivers due to unfortunate injuries, so they made it a priority to recruit Quavious to the team as soon as possible, and were willing to give him playing time as early as this week. With help with Quavious' past football experiece, he was able to work with the offensive coordinator and starting quarterback to get him up to speed with their gameplan. Quavious was usually the biggest guy on the field, so the quartback had no trouble trusting that if he threw up a jump ball, Quavious would get it. Lucklily, for Quavious' first game was against an inferior opponent, so they offensive coorinator let Quavious eat. On nineteen targets, Quavious was able to secure fifteen of those for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns, the longest for thirty-eight yards. This game was a catalyst to Quavious career as a go-to target and a red zone threat. Quavious and his quaterback's chemistry was telepathic-like, and the two would continue this run to lead their team undefeated to the Fiesta bowl, blowing out the competition 42 to 10. McGrady's stats that game off of twenty-two targets were seventeen receptions, two hundred and fifty yards, and four touchdowns.
