Michael Touchback (born August 2, 2029) is an American football Running Back for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Born August 2nd, 2029, Michael Touchback quickly took up a liking to both baseball and football. At Flathead High School, he excelled as a center fielder, kicker, cornerback, and running back. However, they received little attention as they were from a very small high school. However, they made some local news when they hit a walk off home run, then reportedly ran to the football field to kick a 50 yard game winning field goal just 20 minutes later. After some great seasons as a kicker/ runningback, as well as some solid seasons as a center fielder, they received scholarship offers for both baseball and football. In the end, Touchback stuck close to home and committed to Montana State University. Once arriving, he was forced to make a tough decision; would he continue to play baseball? They were obviously required to play football (that was what the scholarship was for) They ultimately decided to stop playing baseball altogether.

College career

In college, the competition was far greater than Touchback's small high school. The practice was intense, and at times Touchback skiped it altogether, After receiving a warning, Touchback would attend every practice for the rest of his college career. As a freshman, they played almost exclusively kicker/ punter, going 15 - 16. They played as a running back in 2 games, durning garbage time, where they ran for just 38 yards on 10 attempts, with one touchdown. Their sophmore season, due to 2 running backs ahead of him graduating, they played all 12 games as a backup. They attempted just 10 field goals, but hit them all. On the ground, Touchback ran for 461 yards and 3 rushing touchdowns, but what was more impressive was 8 receiving touchdowns to go alond with 600 receiving yards. They were one of the biggest receiving threats, not out wide but out of the backfield. In their junior season, they were given the starting role and quite literally ran with it. They ran for 839 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, but they were heavily used as a big play machine out of the backfield, catching 13 receiving touchdowns and 1028 receiving yards. THey also were given the full time punter job, mostly due to the threat of a fake punt. Following that season, they declared for the DSFL draft.
