Martin "Greasy" Bachman (born September 7, 2032) is an American football tight end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Mississippi State University (MSU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Martin Bachman was born in Grenada, MS. Son to local Church's Chicken store manager, Bon Bachman, Martin grew up on a diet of solely fried chicken. Martin's mother (name unknown) was rumored among local chicken fanatics to be a "chicken slinger" (local term for black market chicken dealers). Although her identity is unknown to local authorities, Grenada police have remarked upon the immense amount of saturated fats present in Martin's blood sample when dropped at the local Walmart as an infant. Following the disappearance of Martin's mother, Bon Bachman swore an oath of silence until her return. Martin recalls the impact that his father's dedication to his own craft had on himself, stating in a post-game interview "yeah, I remember during my first high school football game, we were down at the half, 3-52. There goes my dad, marching into the locker room. He didn't speak, he simply laid a handful of boxes on a table. I remember that smell hitting us immediately: Church's fried chicken. Well, safe to say the chicken did it's trick. We walked with a school record score of 66-52. We made it a half-time tradition." Bachman's father would later admit to placing amphetamines inside of the fried chicken, stating "secret ingredient. Works everytime."

College career

"Martin Bachman entered his football career with Mississippi State after having wandered into practice one day, lured by the smell of fried chicken from the coach's lunch. The coach, alarmed at Martin's increasingly pushy demands that he be given the man's fried chicken, tossed the chickena across the field. Marveling at the speed at which Bachman took after the chicken, State's coach was noted to have remarked ""I guess we've got ourselves a tight end!"" Bachman was stated to have caught the chicken mid air with his mouth, a move he frequently performed in college whenever he were to score a touchdown, as he always kept a handful of tenders in his tights. Martin was markedly absent from the MSU football team for October of his Sophomere year. Bachman has clarified that this absence was to do with him experimenting with vegitarianism for a period of time. ""I felt horrible. I felt soy. I guess you could say that I'm a tender-hearted man."" Professional career

Martin Bachman was drafted later in the DSFL draft than he had expected, not being picked until the 3rd round by the London Royals. It didn't stop Martin's motivation though. He was determined to prove anyone who doubted his ability wrong. London evaluated Martin's skill set and decided he would be better suited at the running back position. A move that proved to be a good one. London's offense was very dynamic between Martin Bachman and Royal's quarterback, Josh Patterson along side the strong receiving core. Martin had a slow start to the season while adjusting to his new position, but would finished 3rd in total rushing yards for the season. In his first season the Royals finished the regular season 8-6 and lost to KCC in the DSFL playoffs. His progress was apparent to ISFL teams as in the ISFL draft he was take 5th overall by the New York Silverbacks. In the meantime Martin continues to adjust to his new role on the team and should be a key part of the Royals offense going into season 42.
