Early years
Kevin Christopher Gordon was born and raised in Bohemia, New York to parents Brian and Andrea Gordon. It became very apparent early on in his life that football would be an important part of his future. Whether it was playing touch football at recess, flag football after school, or playing football video games when there were no other options, K.C. displayed a love for the game right from the get go. His parents, naturally pleased to see the passion he had for the sport, signed him up for pop warner football as soon as he was of age where he quickly established himself as a star among his peers. This status would continue into his high school career as he would be elevated to varsity as a freshman, impressing his teammates with his ferocity, dedication, and single-mindedness when it came to finding ways to improve his game. K.C. became a local celebrity, and his success on the field saw him receiving a great deal of attention from college recruiters.
College career
While K.C. Gordon received attention from colleges all over the country, he eventually settled on accepting a full ride scholarship to Georgia for football. The decision came as a result of several factors, though most notably was that he believed a change of scenery would be beneficial. While initially his teammates saw Gordon as just a rich kid from Long Island, he very quickly established himself as the real deal and earned himself a spot on the team as a true freshman. While not being the dominant force he was used to before arriving in college, he was still able to contribute early on. K.C.'s breakout ended up coming in his junior year, where he lead the Georgia Bulldogs to a National Championship. This would also end up being the final season of his college career before he felt he was ready to go into the big leagues and declared for the DSFL draft.
