ISFL season 5 (also referred to as the 2020 NSFL season) began on 27 September, 2020. The season concluded with Ultimus Bowl V on 24 January, 2021, where the Orange County Otters were crowned ISFL champions after defeating the Yellowknife Wraiths by a score of 15-26.

Player movements

The league year began in March of 2020, with teams allowed to contact and enter negotiations with players whose contracts were not yet extended beyond the end of the 2019 ISFL season.

Draft

The 2020 ISFL Draft was held on 12 April, 2020. The Colorado Yeti selected Tight End Carlito Crush with the first overall pick.

Preseason

Training camps for the 2020 season started on 02 August, 2020 league-wide, with the first preseason game being held on 30 August, 2020.

Regular season

The regular season's 56 games, played over a 14-week schedule, began on 27 September, 2020.
