Gribbuh Fister (born September 25, 2031) is an American football linebacker for the London Royals of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Gribbuh was born in Monona, Iowa, and then promptly moved around. First going to Florida to grow out his early years, and eventually settling into Wisconsin, which would begin his young playing career in a small town called Mount Horeb. His mother and father were separated for his entire life, so he spent a lot of time going between the two. Gribbuh's father is a well spoken man, who quietly supports his son from the sideline, his mom is proud and voices her approval whenever she can. Gribbuh spent the first part of his football career learning, as he had no idea what the rules and lingo of football were, but his athleticism and natural talent were always on display in some capacity. Many around him would say that he could be a solid high school player someday. Early on, he didn't find his best position, he was simply thrown into a youth team that didn't have a lot of structure. However, into the later years of middle school, coaches helped him out and suggested two positions, runningback and linebacker. Gribbuh fell in love with these roles and continued to make leaps and bounds all the way into high school. Fister was a late bloomer, only growing into his later years as a teenager, so a lot of his first two years was spent on the sideline, being a skinny and very young kid. Once the growth spurt hit, he spent no time sitting around and took over the team like he'd always been there, taking over both the starting RB and LB position.

College career

Having played in a small local town, there was little in the way of exposure for Gribbuh, but still enough to garner state level interest. As a result of this, he started out at University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a solid DIII school within the University of Wisconsin system. He began his time on the bench, but when getting into the swing of things, he took over just like he had at Mount Horeb High School. At this point, Gribbuh was focusing all his time at being the best linebacker he could be, completely leaving behind his offensive role. After a season of leading the team in tackles, he transferred to the University of Iowa. At Iowa, he started immediately, and made an impact, making 100 tackles and 2 interceptions. The year after, his impact expanded, with 115 tackles, 2 sacks, and 4 interceptions. His final year of college football saw an ever-growing stat line and All-American status.

DSFL career

Gribbuh was picked up late into the 35th season by the London Royals, and played 4 games at the end of the season. The Royals were pushing for a playoff spot. His first game, he gave a sliver of what could be in his future. He collected a sack, which was also followed by a penalty, 5 tackles, and a tackle for loss. It seemed like a perfect way to welcome him to the league, a great play with a sloppy mistake, letting him know the work he has ahead of him. The rest of the season was fairly under the radar, racking up 5 more tackles, but a nice way to ease into playing. The London Royals just fell short of the playoffs and he then has to wait to finally get drafted. Mr. Fister stands as likely the top linebacker prospect of the DSFL in a slim pool of selections.
