D'Jasper Probincrux IV (born August 9, 2037) is an American football defensive end for the Berlin Fire Salamanders of the National Simulation Football League (ISFL).

Early years

D'Jasper was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, where he spent his entire childhood, to parents D'Jasper Probincrux III and D'Jasperina Probincrux. Probincrux III is best known as a defensive end in the now defunct "East vs. West Bowl". Growing up in the aftermath of his father's fall from grace due to sports betting losses, D'Jasper IV knew that his legacy was burdened by his father's mistakes. The East vs. West Bowl legend had once been a household name, celebrated for his prowess on the field. However, financial missteps had dimmed the glow of that once-glorious legacy. Raised by his uncle Mike in the gritty streets of East St. Louis, where every victory was hard-fought and every meal a testament to their resilience, D'Jasper IV developed an unyielding spirit. His journey began with the rattle of Corn Nut bags, the only sustenance available in times of scarcity. The echoes of his father's fame were ever-present, but D'Jasper IV was determined to carve his own path, using the game he loved as his chisel.

College career

Probincrux IV enrolled at Central Michigan on a full ride scholarship. He played three seasons there, declaring for the DSFL draft after his junior season. The nickname "Monther of the MAC" became both a badge of honor and a hurdle, a reminder of his family's speech impediment and a testament to his ability to turn adversity into strength. Probincrux IV stood out especially for his speed, with quick releases off the line of scrimmage to sack the quarterback. While he did not win any honors in his conference nor in the NCAA at-large, he was able to secure quality stats each season to improve his draft stock. Furthermore, Probincrux received multiple NIL deals while in college, particularly from sports betting sites and workout video tape manufacturers. Probincrux managed to secure a 3.1 GPA as a philosophy major, with a minor in journalistic writing. While he was not particularly academically inclined, his background helped him relate strongly to his agent who represents him current-day in the ISFL.

DSFL career

Probincrux IV signed with an agent, jreed12, an up-and-coming self proclaimed "media tycoon", ahead of the DSFL draft. The agent helepd Probincrux IV get his name out there, and he had some scouting calls that went decently well, but ultimately ended up enjoying his talks with the Dallas Bird Dogs the best. So, it was to his great delight, when the Bird Dogs called his name on draft night. Probincrux was picked sixth overall, behind his good friend Leo Simon Schwartz, who he regularly trained with while Schwartz played defensive line at Gratz College. Probincrux served one year on the Bird Dogs, which was relatively uneventful. They did not manage to make the Ultimini, despite a deep wealth of talent on the Bird Dogs roster. He recorded decent stats, fitting into the defensive scheme but never have a standout game. However, his performance was enough to earn a spot alongside Schwartz on the S45 DSFL All-Pro First Team, and catch the eye of multiple ISFL scouts, who noted his drive and determination to succeed.

2061 ISFL scouting combine (S46)

"Probincrux IV was drafted to the Berlin Fire Salamanders with the 21st overall pick of the ISFL Draft. After many calls with scouts, he ultimately enjoyed his conversation with Berlin GM Dewalt, and was eager to join the rebuild. However, Berlin had an aging defense and was looking to find young stars to aid in the rebuild, so Probincrux was called up right away in S46 and quickly experienced the sharp jump in challenge that the ISFL presented. The Fire Salamanders started strong, but suffered several heartbreaking losses due to late-game collapses, ultimately being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs midway through the season. Meanwhile, his agent, jreed12, found himself embroiled in many off-the-field issues during S46 that caught the spotlight over Probincrux's play. Jreed12, always seeking to grow his footprint in the media, conspired with Schwartz's agent, griis, to start running a tabloid called the ISFL Weekly Mirror. The publication sought to cover the day-to-day happenings in the ISFL, and quickly drew many critics, who lauded the articles for being “slanderous” and “sensationalized”. The Weekly Mirror was quickly ensnared in escalating conflicts with other publications that cover the ISFL, such as The Daily Prophet. Tension came to the breaking point when the Weekly Mirror decided to target Zenzeroni Xystarch II, kicker for the Yellowknife Wraiths who is notorious for his verbose rants on social media and tendency to pick fights with members of HO. After Xystarch wrote a 7,000-word exposé on the fraudulent facts and workplace abuse occurring at the Weekly Mirror, jreed12 was arrested and the publication folded at the conclusion of S46."
