Bridge Burner (born April 1, 1930) is an American football linebacker for the Dallas Birddogs of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

New ISFL Prospect, Bridge Burner, was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Al and Jennifer Burner on April 1st, 2030. He was a very athletic child and excelled at sports from an early age, dominating playground games amongst his peers. However football was always his #1 interest and he worked incredibly hard to make sure that he was constantly improving and learning as much about the game as possible. He tried many different positions on the field, from QB all the way to Defensive Lineman, but where he really shone was Linebacker. Getting heavily involved in the game, fighting his way through blockers and chasing the RB or pressuring the Quarterback, he was really in his element. The feeling that he got when hearing the opponent cry out in pain or after having the wind knocked out of them was sweet music to his ears. He became affectionatly known as "BoneCrusher" to his teammates.

College career

After an excellent High School display during his time at Hooterville High School, he was heavily recruited by Colleges from across the United States. After much deliberation and acting on additional advice from his High School coach, Mr JD Boomington, Bridge decided to pick a destination that was considered slightly left field, and committed to Brigham Young University. Although not Mormon himself, he thought that the location would allow him to fully concentrate on his Football and Academics, instead of going to a party scholl such as Arizona State etc. His career year was 2049 when as a junior playing 14 games, he had 91 tackles, 11 TFL, 6 Sacks, 2 Interceptions and 2 Forced Fumbles. Unfortunately in his senior year he suffered a knee injury that forced him to miss several games for BYU and subsequently missed the opportunity to fully display his abilities to DSFL scouts that usually attend regular season games across the nation.

DSFL career

Bridge Burner was added to the Dallas Birddogs via waivers at the beginning of the DSFL Season. It's seen as very fortunate for the Birddogs, as Burner is an elite talent that could have easily slipped through their fingers to another team, if he had joined at another time. He had a generally positive season on the field and produced some pretty nice totals across all aspects of defensive play. These numbers will be shown in the statistics table listed below. Unfortunately his attitude towards several teammates saw him voluntarily leave the teams Locker Room to avoid confrontation or ruin the atmosphere that the team is trying to develop and promote. It's become abundantly clear that he simply cannot be in a locker room, and therefore on a roster with a certain player, which although unfortunate, is simply for the best. He has been heavily scouted by ISFL teams and although a definite First Round talent, it seems he is destined to fall to the Second Round where someone will end up getting incredible value with their selection.
