Angelo R Cerilli (born June 1, 2002) is an American football defensive tackle for the Portland Pythons of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Angelo Cerilli was born out in the country in Trotwood Ohio, a suburb of Dayton Ohio. Angelo enjoyed country living and got strong, very strong infact, when he was old enough he tried out for the middle school football and in the tryout he hit someone so hard, accidentially of course, that they werent able to finish the tryout. The coach knew in that moment what a lot of people would come to know. And thats Angelo Cerilli has a lot of raw talent but seems to lack discipline at times. Angelo would go on to high school and lead his team in sacks every year he participated. In High School Angelo worked on discipline and got more effective and productive as the years went on. Angelo decided to stay close to come, and went to Dayton college, where he met his best friend Jeffery Jefferson. Together for their freshmen year Cerilli and Jefferson wrecked havoc at Dayton, combining for almost 40 sacks! Despite the production on the defensive line though Dayton was still wildly undermaned. Dayton finished with a 7-5 record and didnt get into a major bowl game. Jeffery would leave before the start of the next season, leaving Angelo on a severly undermanned team with no one to take attention away from him on the defensive line. After a horrendous second season in Dayton Angelo would decide to give his go at the ISFL. After a long and gruesome scouting process Angelo was eventually drafted to the Portland Pythons.

College career

Angelo Cerilli was drafted with the very last pick in the 6th round and was drafted to the Portland Pythons, and was faced with a lot more competition then what he was used to it at Dayton. Angelo only recorded a few tackles and the most surprising of all, zero sacks in the entire preseason. After such a disappointing showing Angelo hit the gym working on whats important in every simulation football league, physicals. Improving his speed, and stregnth and agility from where it was in the preseason and hopes to have a dominant regular season. As of this writing we don't know the results of that but Angelo does have a few goals in mind for the DSFL. Angelo appears hell bent on being one of the best defensive tackles in the entire league but he also has championship admirations, since he never got to be successful and win during his college years. Angelo still maintined his friendship with Jeffery Jefferson and still talks to him regularly, even though they were drafted to different teams.

Professional career

DSFL career

Hasnt been drafted to the ISFL yet. But he has some ideas on what he wants to accomplish in the ISFL. Although not anything new Angelo holds to ideal of player control and player mobility. So any team that drafts him or is considering drafting him should keep that in mind. How Angelo plans on accomplishing this is focusing heavily on doing one plus one contracts during his time in the ISFL. While that will proabably hinder his draft stock Angelo isn't used to being drafted high nor does high draft selection really matter to him. Angelo hopes to be a very successful ISFL defensive tackle but at the same time is enjoying his time in the DSFL and is in now rush to come up to the big leagues before he is ready. Though if his production of late is any indication that time could be sooner rather then later.
