Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff "Wolfie" McDummy Jr. (born March 2, 2052) is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Birddogs of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

McDummy Jr. was born at the Piscataway Veterinary Clinic on February 31, 2052 as one of 8 husky mutt puppies. As the runt of the litter, McDummy Jr. did not see much love during adoption showings, as he appeared to be sleepier and lazier than his fellow siblings. He was, however, adopted by the ISFL's Hall of Fame Quarterback Wolfie McDummy on March 31, 2052 during an offseason charity visit, and moved to Denver to join his new human. While McDummy Sr. was looking for a calmer dog, he quickly figured out that McDummy Jr. was secretly harboring incredible energy - just waiting for the right human to come along to unlock it. Through many training sessions and puppy school, it became clear that Wolfie Jr. was much more athletic than many dogs at his age and size, and so Wolfie Sr. became determined to find a positive outlet for this.

After watching many animals find and achieve tremendous success in the ISFL, McDummy Sr. figured that Jr. could also possibly have a future. Wolfie Jr., already an expert at fetch, began training to catch footballs by age 1 and showed incredible skill. Impressively, Wolfie Jr. appeared to be a chip off the old block as he was able to toss the football back to his human with incredible accuracy. Because of this, Wolfie Sr. began to train Wolfie Jr. to become an all-around offensive weapon, capable of throwing and catching the ball - despite always reminding Jr. that playing quarterback at the highest level was not always a fun experience.

College career

Wolfie Jr. was accepted to join the Rutgers Seeing Eye Puppy club for the Fall 2053 semester, and so he took that opportunity to also try to walk on the University's football team. Thanks to his connection to Wolfie Sr., he was able to get a spot as the kicking tee fetcher for his first year. Due to his still being a puppy, the team was not quite willing to allow Wolfie Jr. to possibly get hurt on the field of play - so the year counted as a redshirt. Wolfie Jr. was an instant fan favorite, and his ability to catch incomplete passes on the sideline impressed many fans as well.

In his second year at Rutgers, Wolfie was finally old enough to be cleared for contact sports. He instantly shined as his speed and agility far outmatched many of his human counterparts - and quickly made his way up to a second string wide receiver. By the end of the season, he had become a constant starter on offense, racking up nearly 800 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Wolfie also started to run the ""wild dog"" formation with the team, rushing for nearly 100 yards and throwing for another 100 yards.

Due to the ISFL's specialty rules on animal players, Wolfie was immediately eligible for the DSFL draft after his second season, and so after becoming Seeing Eye certified he declared for the DSFL Draft.
