Richard "Dick" Leaking (born June 11, 2017) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks.He played college football for Stanford and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Richard "Dick" Leaking was found abandoned in a swamp tractor (that is, of course, any tractor used on the set of Dreamwork's smash hit film Shrek) when he was only an infant. Unfortunately for Dick, he was found by mongooses and not humans. On the positive side, however, these were friendly mongooses who lacked an appetite for baby Dick. The mongooses nurtured Dick, and eventually homeschooled him until he was able to hunt frogs and snakes with the best of them. When the mongooses decided toddler-Dick was ready, they released him back into the wild. Shortly after, Dick was found by his human parents, Hermann and Leslie, who taught him things every human needs to learn, such as communication with others, finding/eating food other than frogs/reptiles, and sacking bitch-ass quarterbacks who don't know how to get rid of the ball. They enrolled Dick in an integrated school that taught both mongooses and humans, and it was here that Dick was truly able to thrive. You may remember Dick from his role as Stringer Bell in HBO's The Wire.
College career
As a true freshman at Stanford, Dick was placed behind senior standout Haywood Jablomi on the depth chart. Dick did not see much playing time his first year at Stanford, and he resented the lack of hands-on practice time he was receiving, but whether he knew it or not, Dick did a lot of growing behind Jablomi. By studying Jablomi both on the field and off the field, Dick was able to earn the starting OLB role at Stanford. Through his next two years at Stanford, Dick accumulated 116 tackles (73 of those coming solo,) 26.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and one interception. That one interception came from the hands of legendary Florida State quarterback Wameis "Fuck It, Chuck It" Jinston, who was well on his way to winning his first Heisman Trophy thanks to offseason laser eye surgery. The interception caught by Dick would be the only interception thrown by Jinston that season.

Professional career statistics
After his short career at Stanford University, Leaking declared himself eligible for the 24th annual Developmental Simulational Football League draft. After many scouting conversations with many teams, Leaking had a pretty good idea of what was expected from him, as well as what to expect, from the different Developmental League teams. After what felt like days of waiting, Leaking was eventually selected in the sixth round with the sixth pick. Using the 46th overall pick in the draft, Leaking was selected by the Dallas Birddogs, his top choice in organizations. Leaking had enjoyed his conversations with the general managers and veterans of the Dallas Birddogs organization and (not so) secretly hoped they would be the one to draft him, so needless to say he was ecstatic when he heard this news. Leaking did not mind that he had fallen six rounds in the draft, because he fell to the best possible team.
Throughout the course of his first season in the DSFL, Leaking learned a lot, thanks in part to the high quality of players that shared the field with him. On the offensive side of the ball was future Hall of Famer Zoe Watts. Leaking credits his current tackling prowess to Zoe's elusiveness, quipping that she is "slipperier than a sturgeon in a vaseline factory." Also playing on the offense was Tristian Hex, a behemoth of a man with hands that are sticky like maple syrup. Alongside Leaking on the defense were fellow rookies that he immediately got along with; men like Raylan Crowder, Guy Fields, and Bob Roberts, each of whom possessed special qualities both on the field and off the field that assured Leaking he was playing for the greatest DSFL team possible.
