With his promotion to the ISFL, Beatz was one of 3 rookie quarterbacks for the season. In one of the most unpredictable seasons ever, Beatz was able to work with the Hawks team slated to be by far the 2nd worst team in the league, to the postseason, bowing out in the wildcard games in a competitive showing against the Yellowknife Wraiths. On a personal level, Beatz may have came in the middle for attempts and completions, but is yardage was low out of all Quarterbacks due to having the lowest average yards of all by a decent margin. What his game was prided on however, was consistently finding his man, throwing at 62.9%, average for the league, and a league low of 7 interceptions, equal 15th lowest in league history, and equal third lowest amount in Baltimore franchise history. It is a season that showed Beatz aferr his position swap holds promise at the top level of the league, and is one to watch when both himself and the personnel around him on the offence as well as the young defensive talent the Hawks have aquired in the drafts develop into potential stars of the game.

Preston Beatz (born February 14, 2027) is an American football kicker for the Minnesota Grey Ducks of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Preston may have been born and raised in Australia, but he grew up with a large aspiration to become a top flight player within the International Simulation Football League. His years of expereince playing Aussie Rules football trained himself to have a fierecely powerful and accurate leg. When he moved to America to try and kickstart a career in American Football, it was this leg that set him apart from other potential future athletes. Preston was much more expereinced and trained due to his time in Australia which saw him easily weave his way into a repitable high school football team as both the kicker and punter. His ability to perform in stressful moments when the play breaks down was his specialty, his Aussie Rules background allowing him not only to remain as accurate and powerful whilst on the move, but gave him the ability to even make runs on fake attempts. It was not long before Preston found himself going towards College and fielding multiple offers and paid scholarships to further his life's goal.

College career

After the long and tough decision of picking his college, Preston finally took his craft to Clemson, doning the orange uniform with pride to show that he was the real deal and get to the next level. The college career of Beatz started rough, missing as 32 yard field goal in his first game in perfect conditions, then failing to convert an extra point that saw the game move to overtime. He showed his expereince and ability to perform in the clutch, slotting a 54 yard field goal in overtime to win the game and redeem himself. Over the course of the next 4 years, Beatz managed to increased both his field goal range and accuracy, but in a surprising twist, saw himself playing as a wildcard quarterback at times, showing decent promise with his high intellect and game awareness, with an arm throwing balls as strong as his legs kicked them. Going into the ISFL draft, niether Beatz nor teams that have reacahed out during the scouting process, know what his going to be his true position, Kicker or Quarterback.

DSFL

Season 36

Preston Beatz had an up and down season after being drafted to the Grey Ducks in the second round of the draft. This appeared immensely high despite Beatz’s raw talent due to him occupying the Kicker/Punter role for almost all of the season. In week 16 however, we saw what the organisation was doing, rolling out Beatz for his first official game as a Quarterback in the DSFL. It seems with Farrell leaving to the big leagues for next season, the team prepared to have Beatz swap into the position late in the season to allow him full growth in the position. Throughout the season however, Beatz made all of his extra point attempts whilst having 80% of his 20 field goals be successful. Not as good a punter as kicker, Beatz finished the season averaging 44.8 yards on his 36 punts, with 14, just under 40%, of his punts being inside the 20’s.

Season 37

Preston Beatz first season as a quarterback at the helm of the ducks started poorly with a loss to Portland and two ints, but put together 4 consistent games in a row afterwards to show the transition from Kicker/Punter to Quarterback would be a worthwhile one for his future ISFL team Baltimore Hawks. Beatz lead the ducks to a 10-4 record, claiming the first seed in the North, unfortuantely however losing in the Conference Championship game to the Pythons, making a third loss in the season against them and ruling himself out an Ultimini game. For the season, Beatz threw for over 3700 yards and 24 Touchdowns, both ranking him 4th for the season among of Quarterbacks. His intellgence and awareness in charge showed, with only 11 interceptions, 3rd least for the season. Overall, the season demonstrated an innate ability to read defences and how to pick them apart, and in due time could see Beatz become a mega star in the ISFL level of the leauge.

ISFL

Season 38

With his promotion to the ISFL, Beatz was one of 3 rookie quarterbacks for the season. In one of the most unpredictable seasons ever, Beatz was able to work with the Hawks team slated to be by far the 2nd worst team in the league, to the postseason, bowing out in the wildcard games in a competitive showing against the Yellowknife Wraiths. On a personal level, Beatz may have came in the middle for attempts and completions, but is yardage was low out of all Quarterbacks due to having the lowest average yards of all by a decent margin.
