Maxwell Jacob Friedman (born March 15, 2030) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Hartwick College and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Maxwell Jacob Friedman was born in Plainview, New York and lived in the suburbs in his early years. He grew up a little spoiled and became a brat in his early life, always annoying the people around him. In high school he joined the football team and it was the first time he really felt at home. It gave him friends and it made him feel special. He was named an honorable mention on the county level for his performance at Linebacker and his great play allowed him to get a scholarship for a college to continue playing football. In that same time, his love for wrestling started and he started training to be a wrestler at the same time as playing football, to pursue his dream to follow in the footsteps of his hero, CM Punk. Ultimately though, he decided to pursue football more strongly than wrestling since CM Punk vanished from wrestling, which lead him to college.

College career

Attending Hartwick College was an interesting decision for MJF. He had a lot of offers but wanted to stay fairly close to home to be close to his family. He had a lot of dreams but at the same time, going to a small, not well known college like Hartwick, allowed him to be a starter and even a star on their team. He studied Finance and wanted to just make some money once he was done with college, if the football dream just didn't work out for him. He was very popular in college and began his successful career there, buying his first Burberry scarf in college, something that would become his style and sign that people would recognize him by. He played well in all of his years at Linebacker, growing stronger and faster as the years in college went on, by the end being a big star for his team and in line to join the DSFL to pursue professional football as a goal for himself.

DSFL career

Maxwell was taken on by the Portland Pythons in the DSFL for one season, where he became an immediate starter in the linebacker position and an immediate star. MJF ended the season with a beautiful round number of 100 tackles, which was the third best in the entire league, as a rookie. 14 tackles for loss was tied for 2nd in the league and his 6 forced fumbles were even leading the entire league. All of that as a rookie was very impressive, which also earned him the Defensive Rookie of the Year award in the DSFL. Maxwell shined in his lone season in the DSFL but he was destined for much more and so his path to the ISFL continued with the ISFL Draft, where he was taken tenth overall to the Honolulu Hahalua. Many experts expected him to go even higher after his stellar season, but he ended up in a great position to immediately shine on his new ISFL team and get immediately called up to play from day one.

ISFL career

As strong as his DSFL career started and ended, with winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year award in the DSFL, his ISFL career might have followed on an even stronger suit. His strongest attribute was being able to get into the backfield. His 16 tackles for loss lead the entire league and that as a rookie! Additionally he added 7 sacks to that as well and seems like the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award in the ISFL as well. Sadly, the Honolulu Hahalua were still struggling, winning only 3 games this season. Still that was already a small improvement over the 0-16 season the year before. Maxwell already helped the team win a little bit. His two turnovers (1 interception and 1 forced fumble) were on the lower end for Linebackers but hopefully that can improve with time as well. Going into his second season, there is already an expectation on the Hahalua to improve further.

After a strong rookie season, Maxwell wanted to follow up with a great sophomore season, but sadly things started out much more slowly for him. Still, after a slow start, he ended up with another solid year at least for him. He had 91 tackles, 10 of which were for a loss, along with 8 sacks. A good highlight was also his three forced fumbles and his 8 Pass Deflections. All in all, his sophomore year was less impressive than his rookie year but he did enough to continue on a good path and hopefully he can do better in the future. His team, the Honolulu Hahalua, did much better already after the 0-16 season the year before and are currently on a good path through the rebuild, a rebuild that Maxwell Jacob Friedman most certainly is a big part of and can help the team win in the future. He will go into his third season much stronger already.

After a slightly disappointing Sophomore season, Maxwell returned stronger than ever back to a Honolulu team that suddenly found themselves with a massive jump upwards. Starting the season on an insane winning streak that saw them tying their last three season's worth of wins in this season alone. Maxwell himself also bounced back and ended the season with over 100 tackles again, as well as reaching 10 Tackles for Loss, which for a long time had looked like it wouldn't happen in this season, but a strong end got him to that mark again. Sadly he ended up one sack short of ten sacks. The team ended up in first place of the conference and sending Maxwell Jacob Friedman to the playoffs for the first time in his ISFL career. Sadly there Honolulu came to a quick end but still it shows the team progress and also the progress of MJF himself. He is already becoming a bit of a leader on the team as well.
