Matthew Fryars (born March 8, 2032) is an American football safety for the Honolulu Hahalua of the National Simulation Football League (ISFL).

Early years

Matthew Fryars was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 8, 2032 to Savannah and Philip Fryars. In his youth he grew up in a struggling environment, but he had a strong passion and love for football at a young age. With his family's struggling situation they could not afford to pay for any sports, so as soon as he could Matthew got a job in order to pay for football. He worked as hard as he could to improve his football skills so that he could strive to make it to the pros. He started attending Ridgewood High School, however, in his first three years they were unable to get past the first round of the playoffs, had they made it. But Mathew was determined to get to the State Championship game, unfrotunately they would fall a game short, and would go home empty handed. But this only fueld his desire going into college, he swore that he would make the best of his time in college to pave his road to the pros.

College career

Matthew decided to attend a local college, Chattahoochee Techincal College, but since it was not a sports school, Matthew was esaily able to make the team his Freshman year as a backup to the team's Senior Safety. After settling into college life he began working on improving his play on the field. In his freshman year the team struggled and finished the season with only four wins. However, his sophomore year they improved, winning eight games, and Fryars was able to celebrate getting his first collegiate interception. Going into his Junior year he worked harder to improve his game as much as possible, and it paid off, leading the team to their first playoff win and all the way to the Conference Championship, where Fryars took home the game winning pick six on the last play of the game. After the Conference Championship victory, Matthew was determined to go back, but his determination would be cut short after a few games into his Senior year he would sustain a season ending injury, which would end up causing him to miss out on the DSFL Draft.

[WIP] In his first year, Fryars was claimed off of Waivers by the Kansas City Coyotes for $8,000,000/year. Fryars struggled to get accustomed to the DSFL and did not settle in well. However, he did play hard and made some plays throughout the season, for example he helped win the game in week X by getting a strip sack against X and recovered it for the Coyotes. Unfortunately, he didn’t make many big play and finish the season without an interception.
