After Loose Cannon's Pro Bowl performance last season, Loose Cannon had warranted a lot of attention. The opposing offenses knew better than to throw the ball into his area of coverage. So because of that, statistically, Cannon's season was pretty mediocre. Cannon produced the same stats across the board. He finished the season with 64 tackles, 6 sacks, 9 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovery. All were just about the same as last season. But the biggest difference this season was interceptions and touchdowns. Cannon dropped from last season's 7 interceptions to only 1 interception. He also failed to get a defensive touchdown after having 2 last season. Cannon is still one of the best Safeties in the game and offenses knew that and tended to shy away from him. Cannon will look to bounce back hard this upcoming season and hopefully lead New York's defense to being one of the top in the league

S46 had its ups and downs for Loose Cannon. While Cannon produced a career high in tackles with 70, the rest of his stats were pretty much below his career norms. As Loose Cannon is clearly the best safety on the team, and probably one of the best in the league, he is usually avoided in opponents passing game. Shying away from Cannon was not always the best decision, as rookie teammate Lyle Taylor still produced 4 interceptions. 70 tackles was 7th most on New York but it was 2nd most among all safeties, only trailing Chicago's Rico Savage with 87. Cannon was very under the radar all season til the last game vs Orange County. Loose Cannon finished the game 5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception returned for a touchdown. The defensive TD is Cannon's 3rd in his career all coming from pick 6s. Loose Cannon is looking to go into S47 as a top ISFL safety and maybe even one of the top rated in the entire league.

Loose Cannon (born September 6, 2033) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Maryland (MD) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"Loose Cannon was born in Washington DC. Father is Duke Cannon and Mother is Summer Cannon. Loose is the oldest of three. His 2 younger brothers are Danger Cannon and Gunner Cannon. The Cannon family is very sports orientated and all the boys were very competitive.

Loose was very active in sports growing up. He played 3 sports all year long. Football, Hockey, and then Baseball. He loved playing sports. He was a great athlete especially in football. He was a dominant force in peewee football. He played Runningback on offense and linebacker on defense dominating on both sides of the field. He was also a standout at DeMatha high school, starting all 4 years at Linebacker. He won several high school awards in his Junior and Senior years. Notably making top 3 players in the Nation at Linebacker. He set his sights on becoming a professional football player and hasnt looked back yet. "

College career

Loose Cannon received a full athletic scholarship from Maryland for his High School resume. He made an immediate impression right away. Cannon was showing up early, staying late, and working hard. Doing all the little things right. Alot of people took notice. So Cannon was named a Starter in his true freshman year. He led the team in tackles, Forced Fumbles, and sacks. He won Marylands Defensive Player of the Year award in that season.

In his Sophmore year, there was understandably a lot of hype for Loose Cannon. And he stepped up to the challenge and exceeded them. Cannon was named a Team Captain before the season. And Cannon led by example. He broke the Tackles record at Maryland while also leading the team again in turnovers and sacks. He also was nominated for Best Defensive Player of the Year in the Nation but finishing in 2nd place.

Loose Cannon has elected to not attend his Junior season and go into the draft.

S39

Loose Cannon was claimed on waivers at the end of Season 39 by the London London Royals. Cannon played 3 games with London in a tryout fashion. In Cannon's first game (Week 12), he recorded 7 tackles in the 14-34 loss to the Norfolk Seawovles. In week 13, Cannon continued his tackling ways by recording 6 tackles and 1 tackle for loss. But Cannon committed 2 penalties, one questionable unnecessary roughness call and a facemask. Both penalties kept the opposing teams offense on the field which ultimately ended with touchdowns. And finally in Week 14, Cannon finished his tryout with another solid 7 tackle performance. Cannons 3 game tryout was a solid performance, it also showed that he was very quick to adapt to the game and that he belonged out there. Loose Cannon was a high prospect in the coming up S40 DSFL Draft. He has been mocked to go at pick 3 back to London.

S40

In the S40 DSFL Draft, Loose Cannon was selected 3rd overall by London Royals. It is evident that the Royals GMs liked what Cannon brought to the table and how well he performed on the field. Loose Cannon had a great preseason leading the team in tackles with 32 in the 4 preseason games. Cannon's tackling prowess continued through the season. Cannon was able to surprass 10+ tackles 5 times this season. With his most tackles (13) coming in a week 13 loss to Portland. Loose Cannon recorded 125 tackles on the season, which led the league and broke the London Royals season tackles record. Loose Cannon also recorded his first sack in Game 1 vs Kansas City. Cannon blitzed from the left side and had a clear lane to QB Mayhem. Cannon recorded his first interception in week 12 vs Norfolk Seawovles. Loose Cannon had a very impressive rookie year. He will go into the S41 ISFL Draft as a high touted prospect again.

S41

Loose Cannon had a surprisingly free fall in S41 Draft, and was ultimately drafted in Round 2 Pick 15 by the New York Silverbacks. Loose Cannon was visibly upset at the draft after being the top prospect in the class all season long. But in the end, Cannon was extremely excited to join a great New York organization with a great roster. New York also decided to call up Cannon immediately to be their 4th LB. New York Linebackers were stacked so it was a great opportunity for Cannon to learn the ropes. During Cannon's rookie season, he had 50 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 Forced fumbles, 2 sacks, 6 pass deflections, and 1 punt block. Cannon's best week was in Week 3 loss to Orange County where he had 6 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 punt block. While not a record-breaking rookie season, it was still a pretty good season for Cannon to get his feet under him. Loose Cannon interviewed after the last game and said "I'll be ready next season"

S42

Heading into Season 42. Loose Cannon met with the management team and asked about the possibility of switching positions to Safety since the LB core was very strong. New York was in desperate need of another Safety to pair with the All-Star Regina Ferraro. The management and coaches were thrilled with the idea. So Cannon made the switch to Strong Safety. Loose Cannon trained exceptionally hard in the offseason and dropped 20 pounds. He had to get leaner and a little quicker playing in the coverage game. He did very well. Loose Cannon started all 16 games and helped the Defensive unit to be one of the best in the league. Cannon finished the season with 51 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 FF, 1 INT, and 7 PD. Not bad for a first year at a new position. In Cannons first playoff game with New York he had 5 tackles and 1 sack. New York ultimately lost to Honolulu 7-27. In a press conference after the game, Cannon vowed to be so much better at his new position in S43.

S43

Loose Cannon headed into his 2nd season playing Strong Safety for the Silverbacks. He had a pretty good season. He finished with 66 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 4 sacks, 5 pass defends, but he failed to get even one interception. So while his stats were ok, Cannon did not do much in the turnover department. But that can almost be expected playing on New York's stout defense. Loose Cannon playing at safety greatly helped fill a hole that New York needed on defense. With no holes on defense, New York shut down opposing offenses all season and through the playoffs, but ultimately falling to Baltimore. In the playoffs, Loose Cannon registered 4 tackles and 1 sack. Loose Cannon did reach some career best this season. Cannon registered 11 tackles in the Week 12 matchup vs Arizona Outlaws. Loose Cannon is set to be one of the top players on defense for New York this upcoming season.

S44

There was not much hype for Loose Cannon heading into Season 44. After starting every game last season, and posting subpar stats, Loose Cannon had a pretty strong showing in preseason. In 4 games, playing limited time, Cannon had 13 tackles, 4 sacks, 1 interception, 2 passes defended, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery. This was a small glimpse into what Cannon had in store for the upcoming season. In game 1 vs Arizona, Cannon had 4 tackles and 1 sack in the losing effort. Then in 3 consecutive games, Loose Cannon picked off the opposing Quarterback once. Then Cannon had a 6 week average game showing where he mainly just made sacks without any big plays. But Week 11 against Berlin Fire Salamanders, Loose Cannon picked off Berlin QB Adrian St. Christmas in the 2nd quarter and returned it for his first Defensive Touchdown in his career. As if this was not enough, on the ensuing drive for Berlin, Loose Cannon picked off St.Christmas 2 plays later again and returned that for another touchdown. It was truly a defensive career day for Cannon. Cannon ended up with 7 interceptions (tied for most in ISFL), 66 tackles, 6 sacks, 10 passes defended, 1 FF, 1 FR, and 2 defensive TDs. A breakout season indeed.

S45

S46
