The Ultimus Bowl is the annual American football game that determines the champion of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). The game culminates a season that begins in the previous calendar year, and is the conclusion of the NSFL playoffs. The contest is held in city of the home team. Since January 2016, the winner of the American Simulation Football Conference (ASFC) Championship Game has faced the winner of the National Simulation Football Conference (NSFC) Championship Game in the culmination of the NFL playoffs.

The ASFC leads in Ultimus Bowl wins with 7, while the NSFC has won 2. Five franchises have won the Ultimus Bowl.

The Arizona Outlaws (3–0) and the Orange County Otters (3-1) have won the most Ultimus Bowls with three championships, while the Philadelphia Liberty (1–1), the Yellowknife Wraiths (1–2), and the New Orleans Second Line (1–1) have one win. Orange County has the most Ultimus Bowl appearances with four, they also have the most consecutive appearances with four from 2019 to 2022. The Arizona Outlaws are the only other team to have at least three consecutive appearances: 2016–2018. The Baltimore Hawks (0–3) have lost a record three Ultimus Bowls. The Colorado Yeti (0–1), the Second line, and the Liberty have lost one. The record for consecutive wins is three and is shared by two franchises: the Arizona Outlaws (2016–2018), and the Orange County Otters (2019–2021). The only team with multiple Ultimus Bowl appearances and no losses is the Arizona Outlaws. One current NSFL team has never appeared in a Ultimus Bowl the San Jose SaberCats.
