He took over as interim head coach after week 7 of the Kansas City Coyotes, due to head coach French Fry coming down with an internal illness that would leave him in the hospital for 4 months and he later announced his retirement.
Frost is the father of five children: Cillian, Lane, Kellan, Ryder, and Clyde. Lane and Kellan both play football in the DSFL, Lane plays for the Minnesota Grey Ducks and Kellan plays for the Norfolk Seawolves. His oldest son, Cillian, is a retired professional hockey player, and his youngest son, Clyde, plays for the Florida Flamingos in the miLPBE. Ryder, his fourth son, sadly passed away in a car accident in 2048 (S33).
